GGG has never fought on PPV in UK before. This fight vs Brook will do big Numbers though. I am think minimum of 400,000.

However, if this is to happen, Canelo will have to overrule ODLH / Golden Boy. It's perfectly clear that ODLH doesn't want Canelo to fight GGG any time soon, look at how many excuses he's made. (Remember when he said GGG had to beat Kovalev to get the Canelo fight?)

Its a non-issue. Unlike GGG Canelo seems to be in control of his career. When GB was weary of Trout Canelo still demnaded the fight. When GB advised on waiting on Lara, Canelo still demanded and GB obliged.

Canelo has a great resume for someone who just turned 26. He deserves all the credit for it.

 

Who did they duck? Lucas fought all the toughest guys in his division, which is why he's got some red ink on the ledger. If he's not retired after that eye injury, then he might try to fight Crawford next. As for Tszyu he unified all the titles at light welterweight; so he wasn't ducking another champion and there wasn't a star in the division above him. I guess there were brief windows to fight Mayweather or Cotto in 2004, Vernon Forrest in 2002, possibly Mosley, Mayorga, or Margarito. But it's kind of slim pickings in his era at light welterweight.

 

That wouldn't surprise as he doesn't want anything to do with him anyway,certainly help keep his record intact.

his resume isn't in question,Cotto,Lara and Mayweather all before 26 is quality,there's many a top fighter with only two or three big fights in their all career.

You mentioned GB teaching K2 a thing or two,it sounds like Loeffler is very honourable n all but I've often thought if Golovkin was under GB if he'd of gotten more of those names into the ring with him,Loeffler would say the economics don't allow him any to offer any more but that doesn't cut it with me as we've heard Jacobs and Saunders etc saying that if they're to fight Golovkin then they need life changing money,it might not make a difference but until the money's offered we'll never know?

 

intact? he fought the best talent of this era being 22 yo. He doesnt give a f* about intact records as long as there is enough money on the table. GG was fighting wade, a guy that had never fought at 12 rounds before, being 35 yo. Differences.

You all critizice canelo, that could be understandable, the problem is that at the same time you dont give a shet about who fights little gg. He can fight me tomorrow and you all will be saying that i'm ATG, it's ridiculous. Neither have covered themselves in roses with these two fights let's have it right,Canelo and GB at one point were supposed to be fighting Golovkin in September 2016 they even fooled the WBC but not most boxing fans,the best light I could put it in was that Canelo genuinely thought it was gonna happen but we all know Oscar was never gonna let it happen as it turns out he was against the Lara fight?

 

you mistake me see my above post I've never had a go at Canelos resume and you're right I agree Golovkin does have a poor resume and it is a shame with his talent,I've said it before that I think Loeffler is not the best promoter for him as they seem to lack the money to try and entice anyone in with him,Brooks gonna get but only cause of Hearn and SKYs check book,I still don't think it would make a difference but at least they could say they offered his would be duckers big money.

It's so easy to throw Golovkins resume at him but as we seen with Eubank Jnr he seemed genuine in wanting the fight and the money was big but even still it never got made,I think we'll see the same with Canelo,money won't be an issue but as Canelo said these fights are complicated,that there should tell us this fight won't be made for next fall,I've heard some on here say as long as it doesn't go on after that then they're happy,watch this space?
