If Golovkin does 100,000 with Brook then the next stop is full circle back to mother Russia.

i had no idea how mythical ggg's persona had become, until i started to read the comment sections of any story about him. whether its you tube, espn, boxing headlines... everywhere. aside from the bitter few, the overwhelming majority seem to think this guy is truly special. i think that by waving the white flag and surrendering the belt, canelo gave ggg the exposure that beating him would have, because i dont remember him being near this popular at this time last year.

Do so many British people want to see Golovkin or are there so many delusional ones that believe Brook has a shot?
    Maybe a combination of both.

His whole dance with Canelo has given him a huge boost - a 1.3m rating vs Wade? Thats ridiculous.

Brook is a ticket monster. Kudos for Kells drawing power in the UK or this farce would have bombed.

It's 3G. Remember, he's sold out venues in LA and New York in record time. People can say what they want about his PPV, but the guy is an attraction, and it;s still growing.

It's a bad day for U.S. boxing if this fight outsells Kovalev-Ward on PPV, especially considering the the U.K is the only major market getting this on PPV (if I'm not mistaken).

People in UK are tuning in to see GGG, not Brook. I know I am. Brook is nowhere near as well known to the UK casuals as the likes of AJ, Fury, Haye, Frampton are etc. Hell, I would say even someone like Crolla is more recognised by the man in the street than Brook is. Brook is big in Sheffield, nowhere else. Same as Warrington in Leeds.

Just think about this. How much Does it cost to have Box nation and Sky sports? Isn't it like 24.95 a month or something like that? Here in the US. I doubt that fight Is less than 49.95.. it will probably be 60$ to buy that fight which is technically $40 less than what you guys would pay for a PPV in the UK.SO YEAH.

Yep. GGG got a lot of publicity out of the Canelo debacle and is going to do good PPV numbers here.

That's clearly underestimating GGG's drawing power. How much money did Brook vs Jo Jo Dan bring in?
