Hearn now saying Fury is a great entertainer and a great boxer. Wasn't long ago he said he's the most boring boxer in the world That was after offering him a multi million pound per fight deal of course. The hypocrisy is strong here. Very strong!

 

The past year Fury has really made a prize idiot out of Hearn. First exposing his emails where he was practically begging him to sign with Matchroom (ok arguably a dick move since they were private communications but it was also arguably warranted because of Hearn’s trash talk in the public domain after Fury turned him down.

Next, after Hearn insisted that Wilder-Fury would never happen, Fury completely schooled Wilder and became a sensation here and stateside, landing a mega deal with Top Rank on the back of the performance.

Then he sends him on a trip as a misguided errand boy to sort out a deal with the WBC to have the diamond belt on the line against Whyte when Fury has no intention of boxing Whyte just yet.

Then finally he does what Joshua was supposed to do by putting on a spectacular, entertaining display against Schwarz and confirming plans to box Wilder in a possible trilogy.

Really amazing stuff from the Gypsy King.

 

That's a great summary, yea. Also told his da to get back in the cupboard with a four pack of stella which is the quote of the year Hearn was really cynical and dismissive of Fury and his comeback after being rejected so I find it all quite funny. Guy like Fury simply can't be beaten physically or mentally if he's focused.

Can't believe he actually came out and insinuated 40 year Pacquiao must be juicing, and made anti-PED statements, the day after he'd knowingly promoted and celebrated Whyte's fight with Rivas, despite Whyte being tested positive a few days earlier.

 

Can only assume that he felt that this news was not coming into the open.

 

Yet people on here genuinely believe that Hearn is an honest promoter who is good for boxing.
