Eddie with a couple of big British signings in H.Fury and Saunders. I get the feeling he's going to resurrect British boxing somewhat because the American adventure has been a bit of a disaster. None of the big players in America want anything to do with him, even ODLH who's also on DAZN doesn't like him. He has no stars out there.

Come on home Edward and do what you do best.

lmao that is one hell of a hit piece! Someone's PR budget to keep positive spin in the media run out I wonder?

My my, hasn't the esteemed Mr Brown got Edward clocked rather well:

"Odd, is it not, that whenever Hearn is in full salesman mode, he purports to be the smartest, shrewdest operator in the business, and yet when he is pressed on the broader consequences of a decision, he resorts to playing the wide-eyed ingénue, shrugging that geopolitics is “way above my head”.

“This event could change boxing forever,” he boasted, with all the persuasiveness of Del Boy flogging car radios from Albania."

On Edwards: "rules are there for a reason ... could have been a DQ ... right decision".

On Buatsi: "he hits him low but Ford was on his way out anyway ... great performance."

Fowler has hit 2 or 3 opponents when they were down, even Joshua did it a couple o times, but that was 'all part of the learning process'

With Buatsi this is the second and possibly third win he’s had where he could have been DQ’d. The Quinlan fight was a disgrace.

Yep I remember the Joshua ones, tbf to him I can’t remember him fouling since. The only thing he is guilty of is spitting the gumshield out against Ruiz which is part of the game really. Just a wily tactic.

Was a brilliant main event last night. But a bad evening for Hearn?

His new signing is unaware you need to punch in boxing and Charlie Edward's got banjo'd

Whether you like it or not there are some differences between hearns promotion of the rematch and the original fight for eg. I think they were white collars in the first fight now they’ve turned pro, and they will be some proper boxing on the undercard.... new audiences and all that
