    Parker
    Povetkin
    Miller

Thats how i see this playing out. Takes care of Parker hopefully, Face off with Wilder assuming Wilder beats Ortiz and steps into the ring with AJ after the Parker fight. Wilder prices himself out, no summer fight, Eddie turns to Mandatory challenger, Povetkin. AJ stops Povetkin. Wilder still prices himself out as he gets ready for Stiverne Trilogy, Eddie decides its America time, ends the year making noise over in the states vs Miller.

Throughout this whole period, Fury still hasnt returned and is talking smack on twitter.

You forgot the part where Blizzy tries to convince everybody that beating a geriatric Wlad, a midget on 12 days notice, some rugby player, Headvetkin and a fat bloke from Brooklyn doesn't make Joshua's resume better than Wilder's.

As others have pointed out, Miller would be terrible against AJ.

    Just too slow.

He’ll be a punching bag for AJ.

I was hoping to see Pulev/AJ next. It’s likely Pulev has declined considerably, but I’d still like to see how AJ would handle Pulev’s jab.

I'll be in shock if Hearn and AJ are in a rush to fight Povetkin. If they wait another year it will be in AJ's advantage.

Hearn wants to take AJ to America so I doubt he'll only fight Miller there and then have a bunch of fights over in the UK. The best scenario is to make AJ a PPV attraction in the USA, you Brits will wake up at 5am on Sundays, you've done so for decades lol

I thought he was supposed to fight Povetkin! Joshua will knock Wilder out, no doubt, but Povetkin would be interesting, they are all waiting until Povetklin is past 40..................

Unless Miller completely destroys Duhaupas in a few rounds, this isn't a fight I am particularly enamoured about to be honest. I don't really rate Miller that highly. But I get the rationale about making Joshua/Miller in the US it would be a good showcase to make Joshua look good and sell him to the US market. If he comes over and smashes Miller in exciting fashion he could make a splash in the US like Hamed did when he beat Kelley. Selling out the Barclay's center, something Wilder is yet to get close to doing, and KOing Miller quickly will make headlines over there for sure.

Personally I'd prefer Povetkin as Joshua's next opponent he is far more proven. Sure he got done for doping and nobody wants to see a doper get a big payday and a title shot, but Miller gone done for doping too and Povetkin is Joshua's mandatory, he has to be faced at some point.

I suspect Povetkin wan't Joshua later in the year which is why Hearn is looking at Miller as Povetkin's MO is usually to fight once in the spring and then once in the winter, he rarely fights in the summer. So 2018 for Joshua will be Parker, Miller then Povetkin if Wilder keeps pricing himself out.

Not surprised Miller is next in the queue.

Joshua is obviously a big favourite against Parker & will be again against Miller, but I consider them both live opposition. Good enough to pull the upset if they get it right.

I said a while back I thought Povetkin would be led up the garden path. Everyone will make all the right noises about giving him a title shot but he won't get one.

If the Russians had a clue they would make Fury an offer he can't refuse, fight him in Russia & claim the lineal championship.

Povetkin has a better chance of a fight with Joshua as the lineal champ than he does as the WBA "mandatory". And of course if he were to claim the lineal championship he would still likely hold the WBA mandatory position.

As things stand, I think there's a good chance Povetkin gets frozen out completely. He's got nothing Joshua wants.

Neither Wilder or AJ want the fight this summer. They both want to build their brand and make a unification fight a massive US ppv fight. This is clearly a move by Hearn to test the feasibility of that. Everything both camps do is trying to build that fight.

If AJ does real good numbers against Miller (who should be good at promoting the fight) and Wilder continues to build his brand, the next fight could be the two of them.

Of course, both have tough fights in March and they might be putting the cart before the horse right now.

Miller is just slow and plods in straight lines with no head movement. Joshua would destroy him.

Meanwhile Wilder has beaten a murderer's row of top quality opposition culminating with prime Ortiz.
