Hearn in talks with the WBSS

I guess at the end of the day it’s business and there’s not many big names at 175

It’s a shame Rigo is ghosting cos he could have had a decent chance at 118 if he could drop down

 

As I understand it, the problem is that the prize money is greatly reduced this time, and they therefore can't afford the LHWs.

 

Can someone explain why Hearn has to be in talks? Like is there a purse or smth like this? Because right now it's Sauerland who were making some of the events for the WBSS?

 

They are talking to Hearn about putting some of his fighters in the tournaments. Burnett, McDonnel, Luke Campbell, Crolla etc.

It's not official (obviously the WBSS are not going to announce such a thing themselves), but I tend to believe it.

 

Makes sense. Still boggles my mind that Braehmer and Brant made both 1mil.

 

Eddie Hearn has a number of fighters who could go into the WBSS and is also employed as a consultant for WBSS. He will be aware of everything that is being considered.

 

Yeah has to be true, WBSS cant have made anywhere near enough money to pay the fighters and make a profit.
