Excuses and more excuses for Joshua and Hearn time and again as it was with ducking Wilder.

Joshua quoted 'It is not about the money' then he does not fight Wilder due to MONEY.

DAZN UK a complete irrelevance to the UK boxing fan these days as hardly any of the UK public knew Kid Galahad was fighting on Sat, hardly anyone knows he got beat and nobody cares.

Joshua is a ducker should he agree terms 2 weeks ago and fail to sign contract for fight.

This is his last undeserved chance to win a World Title against Fury and he has bottled it if the fight does not happen in 2022.

Still less than half the notice period for Joshua for the Fury fight.

Man is not landing on moon for the first time or the first brain transplant is happening!!!

It is simply a boxing contest with contracts to be signed - not rocket science and Joshua/Hearn using as excuse to duck Fury.

So many experts on here who are wizards when it comes to reading, amending and signing off on contracts.

Who knew this forum had so many experts.

It's funny to see the Hearn haters claim Hearn is delaying all because Fury produced a manufactured cut off date.

It's not allowed for Hearn and team AJ to be negotiation the final terms for 9 days but Fury can pull out of a fight which wouldn't be taking place for over 8 weeks.

How does that even make sense.

It's nothing to do with hating Hearn. People are rightly pointing out that taking 10 days without a soundbite is a ****ing disgrace. If something cannot be solved within 10 days, then it never will. So they're effectively saying Fury and AJ will never fight ?

If AJ can miraculously sign and fight Fury in 1 year or 2 years from now, then why can't he sign and fight right now ? Nothing ever gonna change. The whole thing is a farce.

Excuse after excuse when Joshua wants to duck a fight as he previously did with Wilder.

Time for Fury to move on from this tune up fight and get himself ready to face proper fighting men in Usyk and Joyce.

Hearn is just a product of his environment. Boxing is a place where scum congregate. Always will be. Its full of scumbags, he isn't the only one. But guess what, we still watch the sport and still listen to the promoters and powers that be when they talk in the media. So what does that make us? lol.

you don't have to be contract lawyer to know what one does

i'm not an electrician but i know when one is stringing the job out

if AJ's lawyer needs 10 days to read a contract for boxing match
    there is something wrong

This is basically the only safe space left for them online right now. It's quite funny really.

Fury has not "pulled out of a fight ' '

what's funny is 3 weeks ago every AJ/Hearn/Marchroom fanboy & their mother was complaining that Fury's December 3rd date was not enough time for AJ & if it was to happen it needs sorting ASAP so AJ can get in camp
now the same people are complaining Fury's saying "hurry up or I'm moving on ' ', & they act like they have all this time available
how does that even make sense?

AJ went from not having enough time, to be all chilled about the time.
& this leads people to wonder if there's any intention on his side to allow him to sign.

Some of you guys make me laugh. The reason for that is the time scale was for camp purposes. AJ had been in camp for 9 months. He wanted to have 6 weeks off and then a 10 week camp which even then wasn’t ideal but preferable. Now he’s decided to cut short his break and not full rest and get into camp to make the fight happen.

The deal is agreed which is the basis of the terms. You then have a good time to develop a whole contract that now needs to be signed off. The broadcasters met yesterday on the supposed deadline day. The broadcasters legal teams will then need to insert the clauses and terms they agreed yesterday and that needs to be reviewed and signed off by all legal team. That’s a 24/48 hour job. Most legal teams will work office hours. This is a £50-70m deal and will not be signed on the back of a napkin

    AJ has had a contract.
if the contract is meaningless because definite terms have not been agreed between broadcasters, why doesn't Hearn/AJ's representative say that?

i don't believe a fight contract for a boxer to signs needs every detail of the arrangement between the two broadcasters.
i've known some pretty big fights to be signed before/while broadcasting rights are still being settled by the execs.
all the boxers need is to know what percentage of what they are getting. if it's 60-40 of everything, it cannot be so complicated. how the two broadcasting companies decide to geographically divide, price and maximize should not be an issue.

if the contract is missing such a HUGE and ESSENTIAL piece, why didn't Hearn say that, instead of being so vague?
Warren has gone on record as saying things left to discuss were "trivial"

i don't know but it seems weird from all sides from what i'm hearing.

As posted before, the heads of terms will be really simple - "60-40 of the take, less expenses". The details of how that comes together will be no laughing matter to work out. No doubt AJ and 258 will want their fighters on the card, paid a certain amount, expenses for their camps, etc. QP might be saying "they're your fighters, take it out of the gross" - and so it goes on. This is about a whole promotion, not one single fight.

People joke on here that there are "contract law specialists" on this forum - don't know about anyone else but I have to do it almost every working day; sometimes, because of picky lawyers and pickier clients, even changing a couple of words can throw things off for days or even weeks. There will be pressure on the lawyers to suggest mutually-agreeable wording but ultimately it's up to the participants to chase things along.

In truth where this happens and it's just down to minute terms, you go on at risk. AJ and Fury should be in camp assuming it'll get worked out, just as in my working life, we get on with prep for a job even if the contract might need another week or two.

Both camps are playing footsie but Fury is just becoming completely unbearable with his constant drivel and BS.
