“We've got a great offer from Deontay Wilder's team, unfortunately for Deontay Wilder's team Anthony Joshua doesn't need the money and he's not driven by the money”

    -Eddie Hearn

He goes to say that they basically want the fight in the UK and they aren’t motivated by the money.

AJ should be taking the fight. If the offer was right then saying UK only now looks like a duck.

UK only wasn't mandated before so saying it now is BS

Yeah it’s a lot point scoring, I hate this open negotiation ****. I would much prefer they do it behind closed doors so we don’t have to debate about.

I don’t think either party are really scared, but they know what’s at stake here and they are gunna try the best to make sure they get the best deal . Imo AJ should just give wilder he 40% and be done with it.

    Totally agree.
Both sides are more concerned about scoring browny points than actually getting this done and over with.
60-40 or something close to it sounds more than fair.

Each fighter wants home advantage. Not surprising, really. I guess the fight will be in the UK then.

I don’t really care, I like AJs deal of one Uk then the rematch stateside but at the same time, they have give Deontay a percentage because I don’t see him fighting in the uk without one

i think Americans forget that the time zones are different.
they wont generate half as much money without the uk fans. (football and casual fans for joshua) wont stay up til 5am to watch this fight.
americans dont like wilder, so whats the point in staging it in america.

    use your brains americans

p.s i like america. especially Disney world.

Yeah, it will be a percentage.

Hearn keeps mentioning ‘the rematch’ so it’s clearly something that they’ve had planned.
