If they don’t need uk fans to make this a big fight, the ticket sales and sponsor ships alone will be enough especially in Vegas. I’m sure Wilders people have some type of maths done to be offering a fighter 50 mil.

If they don’t then they lose out big.

Oh, it’s about the money all right. About the money Hearn and AJ will lose (all those future stadium sellouts) if Wilder wins. That’s the reason for the duck.

There is NO 50,000,000, when the time came Wilder did not show the money, he didn't have it.....................if Wilder wants a big money fight,, he should ask Povetkin, Ryabinskiy has the most money in boxing period!

Even if it is at 4am it will do well in the UK. Remember Mayweather/Hatton did 1.2 mill buys on Sky. Joshua is even more popular than Hatton but as you said his fanbase is less rabid, but it will still likely do over 1 mill buys, it just won't break the UK PPV record.

‘We've got a great offer from Deontay Wilder's team, unfortunately for Deontay Wilder's team Anthony Joshua doesn't need the money and he's not driven by the money’

-Notice he said great offer, he didn’t say it wasn’t what we asked for or what they claimed when he refers to the offer.

‘Does that mean we wont go to America? Not necessarily, but it's not going to be driven by whether he can make $35(million), $45 (million) or $50 million in America’

That’s some additional stuff he says about why they havent taken ‘the great offer’

Loool I literally was thinking the same thing. This guy either doesn’t live in the UK or doesn’t understand how big AJ is on this shores.

    In other words

‘We've got a great offer from Deontay Wilder's team, unfortunately for Deontay Wilder's team Anthony Joshua is a terror-stricken A-side ducking roided up, false name on passport carrying coward who is scared shitless and no amount of money will not give be able to buy him the balls needed to take this fight. He is not driven by legacy, but mismatches disguised as 50/50's in front of 90,000 dummies ’

Does that mean we wont go to America? Not necessarily. If Miller offers us a fight we will jump on a plane tomorrow. We're not driven by whether we can make $35(million), $45 (million) or $50 million in America against a live opponent, it's driven by fear and protecting our most prized asset at all and any costs in order to earn the same amount over a longer period’

The longer this goes on i think to me atleast it is clear that neither side realy want the fight, both are acting in ways almost guaranteed to annoy the other and lead them to resist offers and suggestions. Both sides are just letting fans gobble up everything they say as gospel but the reality is if you look beyond surface level at what both say there are many gaps in logic.
AJ side talk about not being about the money then being about the money, not the location then the location, wanting to unify then not making respectful offers.
Wilder side do nothing to chase the fight for ages yet say they want the fight, match the 50mil offer yet refuse to meet and talk.
I really would not be shocked if this is all just a pantomine and there is no plan for them to fight at all in the near future, hopefully i am wrong.

Ridiculous comment. Wilder's team have offered Joshua an incredible guarantee here, they clearly want the fight. The reason why they refused to meet Hearn is because they want to call the shots - which they did by blowing Hearn's £12.5m flat fee offer out of the water. Are you really surprised that they don't want to sit and talk with Hearn after all the public mocking and shenanigans from Hearn?

One side doesn't want the fight and its clear as day.

The only ridiculous thing is your blind bias in these conversations, you act like you was there when these offers and phone calls happened, you act like you know who was telling the truth and who wasnt yet the reality is you know the same as the rest of us which is not much. Try to judge people on their actions and not words.
Wilder has gone 40 fights without unifying or really stepping up and has not accepted what was offered to make this fight.
Joshua also has not accepted what was offered to make this fight.

Lool that’s harsh whilst I ain’t gonna agree to everything you said. I can’t disagree with the way you spun that last paragraph. He will definitely come to US for Miller but for Wilder it’s a different story

I’m not blindly biased if it’s me your referring too. All I said was Matchroom are now saying that money isn’t everything but haven’t offered deontay a percentage like 35-40% and they haven’t accepted the garuntee Joshua said he wanted to sign to the fight. This is all documented, please show me your sources which contradict what I am saying?

I’m not here callling AJ a coward nor am I saying Wilders team haven’t made mistakes, nope but the fact of the matter is it’s matchroom who are holding things up because they no longer have want they asked for.
