Hearn will source another 40+ Eastern European ex-LHW who is outsized by 100lbs no doubt.

 

46-years-old Fres Oquendo is rumoured to be Miller's opponent. For vacant WBA "regular" title.

 

Fres or Trevor Byran for the WBA regular I reckon.

I am hoping for Ortiz though.

 

I reckon its going to be Oquendo. Then Ortiz or Povetkin early next year and then if the Joshua fight does not get made I can see the winner of Ortiz vs Miller being Joshua's USA Debut opponent. The clever thing Hearn seems to be doing is signing the sellable Heavyweight opponents leaving Wilder with not many places to go after Fury.

 

I don't think Cheeseburger Miller's last event with a completely shot cw counts as a fight

 

Fighting Adamek actually hurt Miller's record. I dropped him to 75th place in my rankings. I think he should fight Joey Abell on November to start the rebuilding of his career.

 

Let it be Oquendo please, this saga has to end.

 

Eddie spiked Charrs bratwurst just to get Miller an easy shot at a title. Just so that Hearn can market him as an American World Heavyweight Champion. It's sad to see the lengths this man will go to to make a dollar.

 

I don't hate Miller at all. I think he has real potential and will give anyone in top 10 a decent fight.
But clearly Adamek is totally shot , has bene for a while, and was never a bona fide HW anyway. Miller needs to talk less and step up and prove himself.

 

You're right and i guess the strategy makes sense. But it's a sad state of affairs when WBA's poundland belt is used as a means of bargaining for proper title fights. "sad state of affairs" kind of sums up WBA though.
