    In what way?

BJS vacated so he can have an even better case when he sues the **** out of the MSAC. Hearn lied about him getting stripped, as the appeal wouldn't even have been heard before the 20th.

Only reason Andrade is fighting for the title is cos BJS decided it suited him better to give it away. Nice try though.

It gives him exactly 300k more US PPVs than AJ has ever had and ~25mn more US TV money than AJ has ever had.

That would be absolutely worst case scenario also. If this fight gets big enough to do even 500k US PPV's AJs highest grossing fight gets smashed to bits. Either way, Hearn's big stiff ***** is screwed.

You fools seem to forget 1.1mn tuned in on Showtime to watch Wilder face Ortiz, a relative unknown who did nothing al all to sell the fight. Plus, 900k tuned in to BT to see Fury fight MF-ing Sefer Seferi. Really try and get your head around that. I think a biased moron would even be able to see that these two kings of the game have a realistic chance of doing 1mn PPV IN EACH country.

Lol 1 mil buys in each region. Can I smoke whatever you are smoking.

The revenue argument doesn't work as I could argue that the much larger US population should mean ppv's sell more than the UK.

You name me another 'mega' fight in the US which has done a maximum of 300k PPV Buys and deemed a success?

If you want to call this a mega fight and one of the biggest fights of the year then 300k PPV Buys certainly won't reflect such a claim.

If GGG v Canelo can only do just over a mil then I really don't have much hope Wilder v Fury getting close.

Using TV ratings to try and gauge PPV Buys simply doesn't work.

An example of this would be Kovalev:

The return of Sergey Kovalev to HBO last Saturday, which resulted in a second-round knockout of Vyacheslav Shabranskyy, was a ratings victory for the network. According to Nielsen Media Research, the fight averaged 869,000 viewers and peaked at 900,000.

Now does that mean 50% of those would buy a Kovalev PPV? How about 25%?

Ward v Kovalev did 125k PPV Buys so as you can see once people need to pay for a fight it becomes a whole different story.

Holy **** you are stretching hard to try save some face here. But i wouldnt bother, Saunders was busted, deal with it, and you and your stupid comments make you look like a massive idiot to everybody on here, you should try dealing with that aswell instead of making yourself look more and more stupid the more you type.

But i understand, your a Hearn and matchroom hater and Hearn is going to do well out of this without lifting a finger, his fighter will end up with an easier fight and likely end up with a world title, another notch for the DAZN network while his slimy dodgy counterpart Warren has been left high and dry, again. Along with catching them out on the 50 million bull **** offer, taking Ortiz off Fury,s card and now this hes schooling old fish eyes.

I'm just calling out the facts from the viewpoint of un unbiased observer. MSAC broke their own rules in an attempt to gift an american nobody a title. Sadly for them, they crossed the most litigious half-man-half-fish the boxing world has ever seen. Uncle Frank is gonna end up owning the entire state of Massachusetts by the time he's done.

Then The Gypsy King cleanly and clearly exposed Hearn for his lies, double talk and straight up bitterness.

So Hearn has been left with one of the worst cards imaginable on October 20, plus a gaping gypsy shaped crater where his arsehole used to be. HAHAHAHA

i do hope you don't mean you when you say "unbiased observer".

What does MSAC have to do with Hearn then? Is Hearn so powerful that he also controls Massachusetts?

Hearn offering Fury £3m a fight, "cleanly and clearly", doesn't mean that Fury isn't a boring fighter.

Here's what you're missing, AJ's "success" is not relevant in a fight negotiation. Money is all that matters.

Based on your childish logic, Pacquiao should have got a 90% split of the money for fighting Floyd. Manny Pacquaio could have easily sold 200k tickets to a fight anywhere in the Philippines and realistically expect half of the 45 MILLION urban population to tune in. Those would be conservative numbers.

AJ making UK-level bank is irrelevant when Fury and Wilder can have an unsuccessful PPV night and still easily beat AJ's career best revenue.

Just a couple more points that invalidate your rebuttle to my sound argument:
HBO viewership numbers are always higher than Showtime
Showtime has 23 million subscribers whereas HBO has 54 million
Wilder is still one of the highest rated fighters in years on either station
Ward is not a draw and never was plus Kovalev doesn't speak English and isn't a huge draw
Ward-Kovalev was a total bomb but still generated over $10mn and made HBO millions.
Eddie Hearn can count his $10mn nights on one hand and his tiny **** lol
GGG - Canelo was an amazing boxing matchup, but neither man speaks English and neither is American
How many times did they go on The Breakfast Club or Good Morning Britain again? lol
All other things being equal, HW ratings are traditionally higher everywhere in the world

You can hate this fight as much as you want, but it's still gonna make AJ's numbers look a joke and AJ is still gonna be taking 50% MAX if he fights the winner. Sorry.

Please try and see things from an objective point of view. There are only two points to be considered here:

    1. Andrade is only fighting for a title on October 20 because BJS vacated voluntarily. Therefore, Hearn lied clearly on 2 counts. Presenting his desperate wishful thinking as fact. Now all he has is a completely empty card to match the empty arena lol.

    2. Tyson Fury is the most exciting and interesting HW alive with a huge loyal fanbase, as validated by Hearns gigantic offer for of £3mn for a 400lb unlicensed version of him to fight a bum.

Please try and see things for what they are. Recognition of these key facts makes your entire post a total waste of time.

Are you honestly trying to argue that HBO were happy with the PPV figures for Kovalev vs Ward fight?

Stating that neither of those fighters were a draw seems kind of funny when neither Wilder or Fury have proven themselves to be any kind of box office draw.

Now I ask again what 'mega' didn't drew 300k PPV Buys and wasn't deemed a bomb?

FFS Floyd vs Berto drew 500k and was determined a bomb.

Huge fights are expected to draw big numbers. The revenue doesn't get reported as its the PPV and gate receipt numbers that matter.

If you expect 1 mil buys and the fight draws 300k please don't try and argue its a success.

Unlike you I'll go with history and history shows fighters in there first PPV usually hit around 300k no matter who they are.

Espinoza on his PPV expectations for Wilder-Fury:

“The price point will be something around what has been typical. I mean, I think we saw slightly higher prices certainly for the big mega ones like Mayweather-McGregor — it’s not gonna be that price. I doubt we’ll even get to the Canelo-GGG price. [The price] hasn’t been set yet but, you know, the reality is fight is a mega, mega fight but we’re also cognizant that’s a big commitment, that’s a big dollar figure for a lot of people. So, you know, it’s certainly a high enough profile fight to charge that. I doubt we’ll get that high.

“If we look historically where pay-per-view careers have been launched, you know, there’s a range that virtually everyone has sort of fit into, whether it’s De La Hoya, whether it’s Mayweather, Pacquiao, and even Canelo. And they’ve all been in the 300-ish range.

1 mil seems a huge huge ask.

    1. Hearn said Saunders would be stripped if MSAC ruled against him...which is what the WBO said. So, no.

    2. Again, being an exciting boxer isn't a prerequisite for having a huge loyal fanbase. Using another example, Dave Allen is hardly an exciting fighter, yet is one of the most followed boxers in Britain. So again, your point is "clearly and cleanly" a load of rubbish

just because you call them facts, doesn't make them so.

Golovkin was a massive hit at the ticket booth and HBO ratings. Yet his 1.3mil on regular HBO translated only into 170k PPV buys.

In the same sentence you called people biased and then called wilder and fury kings of the game ? I’m not biased I think the best Tyson Fury beats the Joshua we have seen last two fights but do you honestly believe that Joshua wouldn’t do similar number in the US ? He does a higher number than fury in the U.K. anyway ? Remember Fury vs Seferi wasn’t PPV and it wasn’t the main event ? And I do think it’s a huge exaggeration to say Hearn is screwed if two other fighters not with him make a lot of money ? AJ will eventually fight one of them down road anyway.

There is no more objective poster on this forum than me. You can't find even one post where I have said anything that isn't a 100% provable fact backed up by multiple credible sources. Fury and Wilder are HW boxing royalty who have no ability to do anything but dominate on the daily. Nothing subjective about that.

AJ is a non-entity in the US. He has potential, but he's much much less proven than Wilder and even Fury at this point. Fury is beloved in the US at this point, whereas AJ is generally thought of as a ducker/coward.

Fury was the main event against Seferi. It was a massive sell-out where the crowd went bonkers and loved every minute of it. The Furious One is shitting gold right now.

AJ could have fought Wilder on a flat fee and got 100% of the US PPV! That's 100% he threw away! He could then have rematched Wilder in the states keeping the majority of the spilt again and then fought Fury in possibly 2 massive stadium fights in the UK. That's potentially FOUR $100mn+ fights where he gets the vast majority of the spilt. Now he has the chance of fighting the Fury Wilder winner on a 50-50 at best once they smoke him financially. If you can't see what a horrific turn of events that is, the only explanation is the purist of pure bias.

Again, you're comparing 1.3mn out of 53mn subscribers, against 1.2mn out of 28 million subscribers. Not really a clever thing to do IMO.

Also, you're suddenly bringing up the GGG (Kazakh MW) that fought Lemieux (French Canadian MW) in a shitty PPV that didn't do well. GGG's last two PPVs were huge even though neither him nor Canelo speaks English or did any promo. None of this is relevant to the two best talking and self-promoting HWs on the planet, one of which is an american fighting in America.

Only bias could convince a person to try and say Wilder-Fury doesn't put up numbers. There is literally nothing to suggest that. We're two months out and they've already done 1000% more promo than any other non-mayweather PPV. Fury is training in Cali so the next two months is gonna be littered with US media by both men plus a 3 part Showtime Doc.

The undercard will be filled with name fighters too.

Finally, huge, exciting HWs with KO power just sell. Someone just WhatsApp'd me a vid of Wilder breaking the jaw of a foam mascot on ESPN deportes FFS. This is an unprecedented level of hype.

Every law of boxing promotion says this fight sells big. The only people who says it doesn't are bitter AF Mis-Matchroom fanboys. Stop fighting it.
