Hearn: Making a big offer for Johnson to fight Yarde on Monday

Why is Beterbiev cherry picking?

 

Johnson and Hearn want the fight so Fwank needs to get it on or admit the duck and his boy ain't ready.

 

I am a fan of both fighters and i actually think Yarde would win ,but this division is full of tough nuts and it might be wise to go on the go slow and get a lot more experience before going anywhere near a proper belt

 

Yarde looks a lot more athletic and gifted. I only saw Johnson against buglioni and really all he did was plod forward slinging crude hooks really, against an obligingly-defenceless bugs. I saw enough to to concede Johnson has power, that's all. Too early to get too excited about Johnson IMO.

 

Johnson beats the snot out Yarde in my opinion.

I think Yarde and his people are missing a trick, Johnson has been inactive and will only get better and better if he is fighting regularly.

They should take the fight now, I still think Yarde loses but he has a better chance now than six to twelve months down the line.

 

Well FW has done a great job getting Yarde to number two with the WBO even though he has beaten errr nobody worth talking about.

So I am assuming Beterbiev asked the number 1 and was blanked so asked Yarde and he blanked again.

I can only assume Beterbiev is going down the list.

 

Oh, I know. I was just trying to wind up Farmy. I want him to remind me who SOB is and how he and El Pollo have 'the whole damn commission' in their pocket, or whatever. I imagine him to sound like Alex Jones (not the one from Blur)

for me Yarde looks gifted .... A lot of people get caught up in the Matchroom v Boxnation thing..

Neither Johnson or Yarde are anywhere near a title shot though...Can you Imagine what Badou Jack or Bivol would would do with them?

 

Dont get me wrong, I actually have grave doubts about Yarde - I think he is a possibly catastrophe waiting to happen. Its just that Im not prepared to go all in on Johnson based on one fight.

 

I like the way he puts loads of full stops at the end of his sentences like this..................[insert comment about Wilder ducking Cornish or whoever]...............

 

I bet his house stinks.

 

Adonis Stevenson will not fight Beterbiev, he has been running from Kovalev for years, Beterbiev does not cherry pick, just nobody wants to fight him...............Beterbiev would Knock Jack out also................
