Basically Hearn's vision for it was that Sky would effectively buy the rights to hosting DAZN within the Sky TV package. So on your sky box you could subscribe to DAZN for an extra cost. The same way Netflix is available on smart TV's. So you could subscribe to DAZN through your Sky box and the thought is maybe you can only get it directly with DAZN or Sky, so it wouldn;t be available through Virgin and BT for instance. My guess is then Hearn would then either have two deals in the UK one with Sky and one with DAZN or Sky move all of the boxing content to within DAZN and spend the rights fees on other sports. So they will likely sell it as were getting read of PPV and moving everything over to DAZN much better value etc etc. but if you want to watch it on your TV you need a Sky package to do it if you are not tech savvy and dont know how to link your TV to your laptop for instance.
Aye, consenting adults and all that. He gave a perfect response; "It's 2 adults messaging one another". The only wrong doing is by the person who accessed / leaked the private messages.
Exactly, we all have mates who do some questionable ****, i dont see why people are making a big deal out of it. As you say its the person who leaked it thats in the wrong
Thought this was quite a good podcast. Neither of the hosts are massive boxing fans, so it's quite interesting hearing Hearn explaining his thinking (about the business) fairly simplistically.
I know, crazy ****, no pun attended. I'm not contributing a viewing figure to any guy who is into eating ****, as you just dont know what's going to come out his mouth.
