I reckon this will change though mate, The football crew will now miss out on the hype as hearn has sailed off to DAZN

Hearns audience is now the (slightly) more educated of boxing fans, rather than those with a passing interest who pick it up with half time knock out highlights and fake snipets of beef between super Sunday games

    Games changed

Hearn did an amazing job with AJ, a limited fighter unifying the belts, selling out stadiums, earning huge money, massive endorsement deals and big fights...did he talk him up? Yes. Is that his job...yes!

As for the d*ckhead comment, that was classless from Eddie, if you don't like the Internet comments then don't acknowledge them. Simple.

If you are a boxer and are considering your future, you should think carefully about an agreement with Matchroom. Eddie Hearn is so hated in so many places that there are no promoters or boxing federations that will help him or do him any favors. Unfortunately, this also affects the boxers.

There’s some dumb ***** on here. Promoters back and protect their fighters. Hearn defends AJ, Warren with Fury, Krassyuk with Usyk etc etc etc since the beginning of the sport. Do you expect a promoter to throw their ‘client’ under the bus every time they lose? Promotors are just business men looking after their product.

As there is no belts or politics in the way now I’m sure he will be desperate to fight Deontay Wilder in his next fight

Hearn is a biggest hypocrite going. Problem that he has now is that matchroom boxing is under pressure from DAZN and he’s feeling the pain so his drivel is expected

Now for his comments about Tyson Fury let’s look at the facts

    - Fury is married with kids & from all the information available it seems like he is a good father/family man & husband.
    - God fearing proud Christian man
    - Fury has never been in trouble with the police or been to jail
    - Fury is a good winner always try’s to show sportsmanship after fights
    - Has never been accused of being a bully
    - Has his flaws like his mental issues relating to substance abuse & talks BS a lot of the time and has links to the Irish mob.
    - Is unapologetically himself

    AJ
    - Not married has a kid who his baby mother looks after
    - Been to jail which he seems to be proud of
    - Sold drugs
    - Racist rhetoric multiple times
    - Been a bully a few times of note like last night
    - Has shown bad sportsmanship like when he refused to shake Whytes hand after flatlining him
    - Denies his religion even though multiple people acknowledge he is Muslim.
    - Pushed down our throats as the second coming of Ali, with the white robe and leaked pictures to the press that showed the similarities between him and Ali

Hearn needs to get real, stop bs’ing us and concentrate on building new talent and giving us great entertainment like he has done in the past and needs to stop trying to sell us a dead horse.

Not a chance they’d risk Wilder next. 4 defeats in 6 would be catastrophic.

They’ll go all in on the Whyte rematch.

Hearn complaining about Mandatories is hilarious considering he loves an easy mando!

I suspect AJ would have taken the fight all along. If you're referring to Hearn, I guess the only thing remaining for AJ is to milk his remaining earning power and Wilder is a great all-or-nothing comeback fight. And Wilder isn't really in a position to bargain so Finkel and co will play ball this time.

The mark in me kind of hopes Fury calls him and sets up camp in Morecambe with Sugar Hill to beat Wilder, then the pair of them fight on the beach one night for nothing. For the same reasons it would be entertaining if Povetkin was about 10 years younger; a scrap with Usyk would be global news just now.

Spencer Oliver's excessive asslicking in the post fight press conference was unnecessary.

A few people depend on the AJ bandwagon, and associated interest in UK boxing, for their living. TalkSport won't be covering nearly as much if Joshua and Fury step away.

Note how the likes of Company Nelson were pretty honest about the scoring near the end, knowing they don't have to talk up AJ any more?

Good post. Poor old Joshua is media trained to the point where his brain is saturated. You could see it yesterday with those bizarre Ukraine comments.. you could almost hear his media training instinct brakes slam on when he retracted a bit and claimed he ‘didn’t know what’s going on there’(?!)

Yep. Can see them trying to make it for December. Hearn does like putting on shows in that last week or so before Christmas.

Whyte will be up for it and it will be relatively easy to make. Would be pretty entertaining too, I’d watch.
