Hearn really has treated Kell very badly....

I never said or even suggested that there was any "coercion". Brook gladly accepted the fight but my point was that he bailed Hearn out and that was true. There was no other Matchroom boxer ready to step in to replace Eubank for that fight. Everyone was excited to see Golovkin fight in London and without Brook stepping in, Hearn would have been vilified for the Eubank fight collapsing.

The overriding aspect of that fight is that Hearn as a promoter should have a duty of care towards his fighter. By even offering the most feared MW on the planet to a WW, Hearn was breaching that duty of care but Hearn's focus was selling PPVs and pleasing the fans.

It simply is the case that Brook bailed Hearn out on that fight by stepping in and in doing so took a career altering beating which is has never recovered from.

AJ could and should just promote himself now. And when he does he will take Buatsi, Okolie and a host of Matchroom fighters with him!

Also, Tyson Fury proves you don't need a hypeman taking half your purse to be successful. Fury never had a flashy promoter. Even now Frank and Bob are more advisors than anything.

Could argue thats why hes never sold out arenas in the UK and even struggled to sell tickets to fill the MEN arena for the cancelled Wlad rematch.

The moment those scorecards for Fury at the Staples centre were read out was the moment that decision was fully vindicated.

Somewere, in an alternate universe, people are actually holding Kell Brook to account for his own actions. For not living the life, for ballooning in weight, for whatever the **** went on with his mysterious stabbing incidence, for the state of his performance against Zerafa, for shafting his trainer, for throwing the guy who succesfully promoted him for years under the bus etc. etc.

Tyson Fury missed out on millions of pounds and mainstream exposure on his way up which is why he was desperate to fight a semi-shot David Haye before going for a world title shot he had to take on the road.

Had he had someone like Hearn and the Sky hype machine behind him early doors he'd have been a much bigger name and a lot, lot wealthier at a much earlier point in his career. The interest in Fury came from his ability to beat fighters who have for the most part been better promoted than he has.

I personally think the fact Hearn signed Khan and still couldn’t get him a big fight, while Khan got Crawford was like the straw that broker the camels back.

Khan has dictated most of Brooks career with zero intention of fighting him

As usual Eddie "twisting the truth" to make is all sound like he is the victim, just like the wilder negotiations etc
I wish people see how Eddie twisting the truth saying "you left" what BS fact is eddie didb't have any interest in investing in kell as he has all his thumbs in other pies what should a fighter do? cant sit around waiting for delucas, zerafas etc he did not want to put up the money to fight the PBC fighters and PBC said pay or don't waste our time they didn't need the IBF belt instead eddie wanted the PBC on the cheap. He didn't want to put the money up and instead sold everyone the lie "they don't want to fight kell" when really they wanted to get paid and he never wanted to pay the champs at 147. Instead he wanted to milk the belt and ruin kells career. So what he should of said is "i didn't invest in the fights for kell as i didn't want to put the money up to unify, and i blame everyone else but matchroom as i am a Accountant" not make it out that its kells or PBC fighters fault.

Interestingly about Khan, I follow him on LinkedIn and he posted a rant about the wedding hall he is building in Bolton, says he’s been ripped off by suppliers and an original estimated spend of £3m has turned into £10m with the building still incomplete!!

After I read that yesterday I’m pretty confident that the Khan-Brook fight will still happen. I’m not one to speculate on a man’s finances but clearly from his LinkedIn post he needs to earn some of that money back.
