Absolutely pathetic to be fair. While i like AJ and he is not doing the contract stuffs himself, and you can say this is normal practice i call that dog..... This needs to stop, but thw Governing Body are beyond corrupt and are on the sweet Juice as well. This A side, B side b. c. needs to be removed, otherwise hard to take Boxing serious really.

What's the problem? If Wallin beats AJ, why wouldn't we want to see that again?

Why wouldn't Wallin want the money that goes with it, rematch will be an enhanced rate?

I don't see a problem being honest. The second fight with Ruiz was bad, the second fight with Usyk was great.

Just shows the level of confidence they have with big bad AJ now lol

I have him favourite to be fair, but it's not the wash Aj fanboys seem to think. This could be a close fight

There's a good point here, but people are just jaded with rematches generally and there's a constant urge amongst fans to "get the show on the road" so even when it could be a competitive fight, like this one, that could lead to a compelling rematch, like this one, there's still no appetite for it.

I for one have never understood the carping, bitching and whining about rematch clauses. Why wouldn't a fighter *want* one of these, and why wouldn't a promoter *insist* on one of these. If any one of you were in Joshuas position you'd certainly want one. If not, then you're clearly a low IQ individual.

If Joshua can’t beat Wallin, what would a rematch do? His career would be toast.

Maybe cause Wallin really didn't have a chance, h ? If he wanted the fight, he was literally obligated to sign the rematch clause. Also Wallin will literally be a mandatory with a win over AJ. And why would he waste his time fighting AJ second time around, as he already beaten him, instead of fighting for vacant title against Hrgovic ?
While money are always factor, this shouldn't be the main goal, especially for guys like Wallin, and they are literally forced, cause the Governing Body, ain't protecting them at all, and all of this dudes are paying this corrupt ***** tons of money to participate in their pathetic dogs**** corrupt ranking.

Also the whole feeling that in order to beat someone you needs to beat him twice, and he needs to beat you just once to move on, is just a pathetic feeling.

One of the reason i start hating on Boxing so much. It's literally beyond toxic just thinking about it.
I'm really done with the sport once Usyk retire. The last good thing Boxing has, and lets hope they don't screw him as well.

P.P. AJ - Ruiz 2 was perfectly fine match. Almost zero clinches and a absolutely clinic performance by AJ.
Almost all of the forums was saying AJ has no-chance before the fight, cause it wasn't a lucky punch that beats him in the first fight, and that he can't fight "long".
While i didn't want to mention Fury name in this thread i had to in this case, cause it's funny how some of Fury performance are labeled as a Boxing masterpiece, when the guy is sticking to his jab, and hold for dear life most of the match, yet AJ is using his height/reach and powerful jab and right hand, and actually move for the whole 12 round and stay away from opponent is labeled as boring.

Think its fairly safe to assume that every fight involving a major fighter has a rematch clause these days
