So why does he book Kell in for July the 7th?

Would have propelled Kell infront of the americans and a win would put him in line for the winner of Berto/Ortiz

Would have been a good fight, I'd probably favor Brook, but Alexander would be a stiff test and a name boosting fight.

exactly, at chances at the moment are that he's going to fight clottey on july 7th and will win UD,

and he'd still be in exactly the same position in terms of World Title ambitions as he is now he's beat Matthew Hatton

tbf clottey is a significant step up for kell. i have no problem with that fight if that is what he ends up doing...rather than another euro/domestic fighter.

devon would be a much higher profile fight tho. he should be going all out to make fights like that.

yeah i suppose, just seems as though all these years he's never had the real oppertunity for a big fight, and he gets offered it and seems to have turnt it down..

Kell will have to travel to become World Champion, i think thats for sure...

nah...he turned it down cos it was at 154...

still thought he should have taken it tbh. would have made his name & cotto isn't huge at the weight.
