I would think Eddie Hearn would be more concerned with who Anthony Joshua is going to fight on June 1.

Wilder will have fought twice - Fury and Breazeale - since Joshua's last fight ... and Joshua doesn't even have an opponent for June 1.

If Hearn doesn't find someone quick, he will have effectively wasted a year of Joshua's prime.

Eddie needs to stop talking and promote. Or Joshua might dump him.

Straight up ducking of Dillian "Wilder's Kryptonite" Whyte

Pathetic trash, cherry picking , padded record holding, Belt hugging mofo that don't want no smoke.

And he still get's defended by the likes of Dubblechin and the rest.

    Whyte still takes risky fights.

Oh, what a surprise. That's interesting because Kownacki and Ortiz decided to turn down offers from AJ in the past week.

That narrows the situation down to two options. Either:

    A. Ortiz, Kownacki and Wilder are cowards
    or
    B. Ortiz, Kownacki and Wilder are being told what to do by Moneygrabber Haymon

Could be either, could be both. It's at least one of them though, that's for sure. And I'm sick and tired of it too. This proves that once again Wilder is ducking, and it's not just AJ he has a problem with. I think he's terrified of Whyte as well, and is scared of getting schooled by an even better Fury in a rematch.

If Eddie is right, it proves the Wilder protection squad consisting of Haymon using high-guard bums as well as the WBC as a shield is true.

The heavyweight division is full of cowards and it is shameful. Fighters need to get some bravery from somewhere and fight AJ for 3 belts and a big payday. No excuses.

If Hearn doesn't nail down an opponent for June 1 soon, Wilder might face Fury, Breazeale, Ortiz (a second time) and Kownacki before Joshua even steps back in the ring.

Hearn should ask Usyk and Whyte to see if they're brave enough. Both fight for Matchroom. Hearn is their promoter. Usyk is already in camp. Hearn just put Whyte in ANOTHER fight.

I'm sick of Hearn blaming other promoters for not bailing him out because one of HIS OWN MATCHROOM fighters failed three PED tests (and didn't even have a boxing license).

Hearn should give one of the other top Matchroom heavyweights a title shot at Joshua and stop blaming everyone else.

But Usyk/Joshua, Whyte/Joshua will definitely happen at some point. And you will look like the idiot.

Whereas Wilder has shown no intention of fighting Whyte or Joshua with his actions which speak louder than words.

You explain to the forum why Ortiz deserves a second shot over Whyte... and why does Kownacki deserve a shot ahead of Whyte... go on please lie out of your arse as usual to justify the deplorable behaviour displayed by Haymon/WBC/Wilder

You have no shred of decency and your credibility dwindles by the day.

We all know Wilder has no interest in fighting AJ.

So if Wilder is succeful in his next 3 fights then his best career wins are:

    - Ortiz
    - Breazeale
    - Kownacki
    - Duhaupas
    - Washington

Whilst Wilder will continue to duck AJ, AJ will have to deal with his mandatories (Usyk & Pulev) next year after Hunter/Ruiz JR. If AJ is successful in his next 3 fights his best wins would be:

    - Wlad
    - Usyk
    - Povetkin
    - Pulev
    - Whyte/ Parker

There is levels to this people.

You know what... **** it... who cares? I certainly don't care anymore.... as a boxing fan I've seen enough bull**** as of late from the USA protection squad... that they can continue to freeze themselves out...

Let them hold on to the WBC belt... and they can fight among themselves. Whyte will get to it eventually.... WBC can't lock a WBC top ranked fighter out forever without getting sued beyond comprehension... maybe we will develop a new regulatory authority to keep sanctioning bodies in check.

It's amusing to me how a man who thinks of himself as the baddest man on the planet is basically a slave to his promoter. I know one shouldn't use that term when referring to fighters of colour, but that's basically what Wilder is.

Kownacki has another fight set up, just like Usyk and Whyte do. (Ask your fellow Matchroom brothers why that excuse is a worthy response.)

And Ortiz's promoter (DADE Promotions) apparently told him to demand more.

So, neither of your options are correct, unless Whyte and Usyk are either cowards or are being told what to do by Haymon as well.

So, who is Joshua fighting June 1st?

Laughable to think Wilder is afraid of the AJ fight, but booking an Ortiz rematch does nothing for me. He was knocked down 3 times in that fight, there's no need to run it back. It seems as if Ortiz was forced not to take the AJ fight so that a rematch with Wilder wouldn't lose any luster.

Just another day in matchmaking for the Haymon stable of fighters.

And who the hell want to see Wilder vs Ortiz 2 ? Why it`s even such match in the making ? What exactly Ortiz has done since getting KO by Wilder? He is getting younger, faster, stronger and better and have higher chance now ? Also hes cardio will last this time arround ?
Who exactly will buy this match anyway ? Both Wilder and Ortiz will probaby make less money this time arround ... Ah, not that they make much last time arround ...

You guys sure know how to take the bait.

Eddie's MATCHROOM fighter blows three drug tests and failed to get a boxing license.

    Eddie had no backup plan.

His top fighter has been out of the ring forever while everyone else is fighting, and now Hearn is scrambling trying to put any kind of show together.

And he's got you all whining about Wilder and Al Haymon.

Who is Joshua fighting June 1st? If they don't get someone, Joshua might be out of the ring for an entire year. But don't talk about that. LOOK OVER THERE!

This. I still can’t believe Hearn didn’t have a backup opponent for Joshua. Hearn should always have another opponent on call for Joshua unless Joshua’s opponent is Wilder or Fury.
