Come on drenlou, you surely aren't going to start trolling too.

I understand you don't like the fight, I don't either, but it's clear that Eubank Jnr was the first choice and his father basically blocked it.

Hearn said he made it difficult or "Impossible" but admitted they didn't turn it down!

Hearn said CEJ never got a contract.

If you had been following the saga properly you would know Brook was unhappy that Vargas and CEJ were getting major pay days and he was getting shafted. Brook hit the roof and demanded more coin.

Hearn has then said to him you can't get any extra coin your only fighting Vargas he's a nobody. Brook said I'll ****en fight GGG then, show me the money!!!!

Now Eddie has this great Idea to give CEJ the winner and they can all be happy.

GGG is stoked because he was scared to death of CEJ and likes beating up smaller fighters

CEJ didn't see a contract because Hearn is not allowed to negotiate with him only with his father who did see a contract the same contract Joshua and Froch got for a PPV fight. CES rejected it.

Ahh shut up already. Hearn said that the Eubanks wanted more money for fighting Golovkin than Joshua and Froch got for a PPV fight FFS. Hearn also said that Eubank Sr wanted to SET the ticket prices, he wanted double ticket prices than what was for Joshua's last fight. Eubank Jr shamefully ducked Golovkin after using his name for weeks, period.

I firmly disagree, they have been getting this contract done for over a week. Why did Kell not sign for Vargas?

I don't know why Vargas didn't sign but what does it have to do with the Eubanks ducking Golovkin to be honest? :think

More like they have been using Golovkin's name for weeks to get publicity, make people talk about him... It was a nice publicity stunt.

No. The contract for Eubank was drafted weeks ago. The Eubank's kept changing the details and the the original contract became null and void with all the newly proposed changes.

Then, I guess, Hearn called Brook and said "Here is your chance, take it. Don't say I can't deliver for you now".

Brook thought about it for about 30 seconds and agreed. He is in a win win situation. It's his highest purse EVER, it's in the UK, the PPV money will be great for him, and he won't lose his WW belt either.

Eubank never recieved HIS own ammended/proposed version of the contract.

A contract was given to him from Hearn with all the original proposals in place; something AGREED to by the Eubanks initially. It was Eubank Snr who just never took it and he wanted more and tried to call Hearn's bluff. It backfired on the big time.

Now Junior will just be floating around the Top 5 doing a merry-go-around fighting people like Saunders and Jacobs.

My problem is not with Brook, he did what he had to do. Good for him, but GGG is on record months ago saying he wouldn't fight Brook because he's too small, then he did a complete 1080 and signs to fight the "small" WW anyways. Secondly his fans are perfectly fine with it, even after ripping Canelo for taking the Khan and Smith fight.:patsch

I understand and it also makes GGG look hypocritical I agree. However, look at it this way.

He is fighting at the 02 arena in London - capacity is 50,000?

It's PPV. He is the champion and has K2 to negotiate very well for him.

It's more money for GGG than he would get fighting some American softy like Wade.

It's easy money for GGG vs a career Welterweight.

It does nothing to enhance his legacy but it's a keep busy fight at a very high stage and easy money for him too.
