I'm not saying he deserves 50-50 but he definitely deserves more then Hearn offered plus think they got 14,000 people for the Ortiz fight

Deontay Wilder drew 2.54 million viewers when he fought Chris Arreola on Fox. He drew 1.86 million viewers when he fought Gerald Washington on Fox. He drew 1.24 million viewers on Showtime for the Stiverne rematch ... but it was the 1.2 million viewers he drew for Ortiz that led Hearn to proclaim Wilder has become a "bigger" star.

Whatever. As long as they fight. That's all I care about.

Sounds like the only reason Hearn wants Wilder next for Joshua is he finally saw Wilder get hurt in a fight.

It's certainly not about the ratings, that's for sure.

The difference is Wlad is a all time great, Ortiz is barely a somebody.

Wilder gets hurt in nearly every fight? Certainly nothing new.

Also, the fact the viewers for Wilders fight go down nearly everytime is extremely worrying, for Wilder.

How many watch these guy's fights and what they get paid doesn't impact my bank balance or change the amount of sleep I get.

Spin can be applied to absolutely anything, and is on a daily basis here.

Like you, I just want to see them fight each other.

Doesn’t matter B-hop was still an ATG and joe smith smashed him out the ring, how much credit are you gunna give him for that win. Both beat very good fighters, that version of Wlad openely ducked Ortiz too.

So did Robert Allen, Chad Dawson rag dolled Hopkins too. Most ATG's lose, that doesn't take away from the opponent that beat them.

As has been said, I think Eddie seeing that Wyler is rather easily hurt (LOL) might play a factor in him having a change of heart on this potential fight being made sooner rather than later.

Even if it does get put together, I don’t think it will sell as much as Vlad Joshua did

Wlad was a huge draw in that fight. Joshua/ Wilder wouldn’t draw those numbers. These two guys both undefeated titleholders, but they are not riding high on a decade of dominance, as Wlad was

Joshua Wilder would sell well , though. But not 90,000

Hearn is looking at the UK market where he will sell most of his PPVs. He's been marketing Wilder in the UK consistantly. Actually Hearn has done a better job marketing Wilder in the UK than Wilder's promoters have done in the US.
1- Wilder was the guest commentator for AJ vs Wlad.
2- sky sports aired 30min segments on Wilder's career.
3- Ortiz is.known as a dangerous opponent by UK fans since he was promoted by Hearn for a couple of fights.

No one knocked him out like smith did, is what smith did more impressive than what Kovalev did?

I rate AJs win over Klit not as much as Fury’s but it still the best win he has, same with Wilder and Ortiz. Ortiz was coming off a loss and two year lay off, he was still highly avoided and a dangerous contender.

Assuming AJ passes the Parker test, Wilder has finally made some noise which has wasn't him some decent recognition meaning this fight is perfect timing for a summer showdown at Wembley Stadium.

Assuming Tyson can have a comeback fight I'd love too see the winner face him in december

Apparently the first time ever two undefeated heavyweights will unify, how about doing it twice in one year...

More Hearn BS straight out of Floyd’s playbook.

    “Wilder doesn’t deserve this fight.”

    “Deontay Wilder, you’re next.”

“I won’t negotiate with Haymon or Finkel. Wilder has to negotiate directly with me without his managers.”

“Wilder has to sign with me as a promoter if he wants the fight.”

All delivered with this look that says, “Everything I say is complete bollocks. I can’t believe anyone takes me seriously.”

Ortiz is still a dangerous contender. One loss against quality opposition doesn't change that.

Ortiz landed bombs on Wilder. The same sort of bombs that got nearly all of his opponents out of there. But somehow Wilder survived, and if you don't get Wilder out of there he eventually gets you out of there.
