Lets be honest, if Chavez didn't come to the ring as a Cruiserweight he'd be ****ing awful, all he has is a huge size advantage in each fight.

^^^^ He has really improved, though mate. I remember seeing him as a Welter and he was garbage. A lot of people criticise him for his weight gain but a lot of other fighters do it and have nothing said.

He takes it to ridiculous levels though and he's a proven cheat. He's been roidding every single fight, no doubt about it.

he has improved, but his greatest assest is his size, no doubt about it.

how he makes 160 is beyond me

Well Brandon Rios was a Middleweight on Saturday night. Alvarado was only a few pounds behind. They are supposed to be Junior Welters. He was busted for a diuretic but it doesn't mean he's a roider.

So you don't think Chavez is a cheat, he was caught, then just bout every fight since he had in Texas and they refused to do he post fight tests, pretty obvious.

Looks like Hearn is trying to clear some room in his stable for new imports cos sending Barker to Mexico to fight Chavez Jr in a place where he can light up as big a doobie between rounds as he wants and get his dog to provide the **** sample smacks of cashing him in. Sink or swim time for Barker by the looks then. And after the Froch card someting similar for Bellew wouldn't be surprsing and sensible business-wise too.

I don't think he's roiding. He fights a lot in Texas because of the fan base. His last fight was in Vegas. There's suspicion on lots of fighters but I can't say it's obvious they're roiding.

Chavez has skipped numerous post fight tests, one time he even point blank refused to do it, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

I only heard he missed a post fight test when he fought Rubio. What people didn't mention was the fact that Rubio and the undercard fighters, Donaire & Vazquez Jr, were also not tested after the fight. Only Chavez got the **** though.

I see people all the time saying Manny Pacquiao refused to face Mayweather for the biggest purse of all time because he didn't want to do random testing. They say that proves he's a cheat. Again, not in my book. Suspicion doesn't mean cheating.

Exactly. Not hard to work out why Bob likes sending him to Texas is it. Incidentally it was the Nevada State Athletic Commission who caught him out on the diuretic. That's why it was even more ridiculous the other week when Ward, who is chained to California, called out Mayweather, who always fights in Vegas under the Nevada State Athletic Commission and is leading the fight for stringent testing.

Load of shite. He's never turned down a drug test, you can't do that ffs, when he fought in Texas once the commission did not test any fighter on the card. But that got misreported and people started claiming only Chavez hadn't been tested.

And him coming in at cruiserweight or whatever - blame modern boxing and it's rules. Not his fault for taking advantage.

Chavez Jr was caught using furosemide. Chavez Jr said he took it to make him **** more and that he and the rest of his team were completely unaware that it is banned because it doubles up as a masking agent. Grown quite a lot in recent years has Julio
