I smell blood in the water. Joshua is looking past Povetkin, dreaming, sitting in the sun, making all sorts of future plans. Little does he know that:

If Whyte beats Parker, Hearn will tell him he needs to shadow box himself in a mirror before he gets another shot at AJ....

You follow boxing and yet so many of you don't understand it! Hearn isn't using Whyte as a bodyguard, he's using him to build revenue from fights. If Usyk fought Whyte then he'd be introducing him to the UK public and laying the groundwork for an AJ fight. There'd be revenue from the fight itself, for both fighters and Hearn naturally, but then there'd be a much bigger payoff in the AJ fight because the audience would've been primed by a showreel display from Usyk.

It's the same thing he tried with Wilder. It's not about protecting AJ, it's about MAKING MORE MONEY. If Usyk is as good as everyone thinks then he'll beat Whyte and at that point Hearn can sell those 90k tickets to casuals who haven't even heard of the cruiserweight super series and who probably couldn't tell you what weight cruiserweight even is.

I think Whyte serves both purposes, he's good value for a PPV slot - and Hearn needs to find six per year and they can't all be AJ - and a Whyte vs Uysk fight would be a good litmus test for the level of potential future threat to Joshua. It can be both reasons at the same time. That would have been the case with the proposed Whyte vs Wilder fight.

But you're right in what you say, with his current stable, Hearn is struggling to deliver six PPV-worthy fights this year. Whyte helps out with that....

^This... Holler. If you want to be in the game you have got to be a player. Whyte, Chisora, Parker, Takam, Price, Allen, etc.. they aren't bodyguards in the literal sense, they know their roles, and they get rewarded financially, handsomely. If you don't want to play the game, don't complain about being a broke monogamist barely making bread.

I can see some idiots misunderstanding "Whyte First" as some sort of White Power racist organisation and attacking Hearn and matchroom LOL

Like the morons a few years ago in the UK who smashed up the home, the car and beat the granny out of a Paediatrician because they thought that meant he was a **********.

    Only in the UK.

Right so Bellew going back to CW and fighting Usyk for all the belts isn't happening then?

Oh and when is Whyte going to realise he probably isn't getting a world title shot anytime soon?

So now, according to Hearn, Usyk Vs Whyte should happen before either get an AJ fight?

I was under the impression the winner of Whyte/Parker was being lined up for April (assuming Wilder doesn't happen).

Also yesterday I heard Johnny Nelson and Adam Smith saying (during the live workouts) that the winner of Takam Vs Chisora should/could fight Whyte (assuming he wins)

If I was Whyte (assuming a victory tomorrow) I'd want something concrete from Hearn regarding a world title shot, a definite date or want to know where I am in line because they are talking about a possible three fights before I get AJ.. Parker, Takam/Chisora and now Usyk.

That's all Aj and Hearn fanboys know how to do, is deflect.

Talking anything to do with boxing with these cultists is like tryng to reason with Trump Supporters.

You expose Trump's host of lies, stupidity and hypocrisy, and they will point the finger and say ''what about the time Obama did this...'''

Fair point, I was over simplifying a little!

Hearn turning Whyte into a PPV headline act is some achievements.

Hearn is just a mastermind. Honestly, he's a legend in the sport of boxing.

Usyk comes from CW and is still quite unknown in the West, so how is Hearn going to sell the fight against AJ?

    1. Usyk vs Bellew. It would be a tough fight but I think Hearn believes Usyk is going to win. British fans will have an eye on Usyk.
    2. Usyk vs Whyte. Next, big fight in the UK. British fans want to see anoter Brit beating Usyk, as revenge if he won against Bellew. This fight is even easier for Usyk, I believe he beats Whyte without problems.
    3. A megafight against AJ. Usyk will be at this point, most likely in autumn 2019 be known among British sports fans. He will have made some fans in the UK as well and people will be eager to see him against AJ.

do people actually realise hearn and joshua are 2 different people?

joshua is busy getting ready for povetkin.

hearn is the one doing the talking and trying to get the contract signed.
Joshua has really said very little on it.

he's not bothered, he's making millions for joke.

but joshua and hearn are doing different things, joshua is not overlooking povetkin

The lies and spin has effected me. First because he's holding those belts hostage so we're not seeing the fights that we wish to see, which is ruining the Heavyweight division.

Second because I receive death threats from his overzealous fanboys because they don't like me revealing the truth about their boy and Eddie Hearn.

Let Povetkin make his body turn stone cold stiff on that canvas so I don't have to deal with anymore of the garbage peddled by him and his stupid fanboys.

The same people who claimed Joshua ducked Ortiz, and now suggesting that Joshua should fight Usyk, which means those with ranking points in the HW division get completely screwed......Like Ortiz apparently did.

I believe Usyk beats Joshua in a close fight, and wins 12 rounds against Wilder.....

But if he wants a shot at Joshua he needs to beat a top contender/several contenders.

The reason I would prefer to see guys like Usyk take the Wilder route, and guys like Whyte/Parker get a shot at Wilder is because I want more life in the HW division.

Why have Joshua v Contender and Wilder v Non-top 10 when we can have Two HW champions fighting two contenders fight after fight?
