This content is protected Lol so if Whyte wins he wants him to fight Wilder next, sounds like a way for AJ to duck Wilder...
Promoter wants his fighter, mandatory to Wilder, to face Wilder shocker. Im sure Hearn isnt too keen to have AJ face Wilder just yet, it is a dangerous fight and nobody denies it but its not about what Hearn wants it is about what Joshua wants. Perfect world for Hearn, Whyte beats Wilder and then AJ Whyte 2 gets made and Joshua gets his belts and gets them in a safer way than having to face Wilder, we get it and he certainly isnt the 1st promoter to want to steer his money making fighter away from threats, Wilders 28 managers have been doing it themselves long enough.
Hopefully he gets clubbed out by Browne so we can get to Wilder vs Joshua (assuming he wins next Saturday)
Hearn is concerned with one heavyweight and one heavyweight only.... Anthony Josuha. Whyte, he couldn't care less about but he serves a purpose - a human buffer zone between AJ and Wilder. And putting Whyte in the ring with Wilder will better inform him how his cash cow would get on against Deontay once that fight is made. Plus he'll make a small amount of dosh, and should Whyte win, Hearn can sell the Joshua vs Whyte rematch as a domestic dust-up for the undisputed crown. There's plenty of sense to this approach because Wilder is hard to gauge. Yeah, he's technically awful but this almost doesn't seem to matter. In fact, I would say Wilder doesn't even enter a fight thinking about how he might win on points. He comes in light, waits for the bigger man to gas and gambles on landing the money punch. Hearn is worried because it's hard to execute a game-plan against a boxer who isn't too bothered if he wins rounds. Throwing Whyte in with Wilder will help see if that power can chop down a tough, young guy who they know is a rung or three below the level of Joshua. It's not a duck as such, more like moving a pawn to protect his queen.
Hearn just is surrounding Wilder and want to make him accept his demands. Anyway if Wildes knocks Whyte out he will raise his "stocks" very hight and will have right to demand 50/50. But according to the fact that Wilder already refused from fight with Whyte, where he would have earned more than he has ever earned, probably he or his team doesn't sure in the result of this fight.
Lol, simple as this. Hearn has 2 heavyweights. He wants 2 champions, so he can make as much money as possible off 2 champions. Johsua vs Wilder, he's only making half the big money. Whyte vs Joshua, he's making all the big money. Aint no one ducking anyone, simply Wilder has to fight Wyhte before Joshua and give him and Hearn that opportunity. It's just business.
There's also the fact that Joshua vs Whyte for all the belts probably makes more than Joshua v Wilder.
Joshua-Miller Wilder-Whyte In October/November Then if everything goes to plan Joshua-Wilder 04/2019 if we're lucky
If Wilder is taking on a mandatory then it makes sense for Joshua to do the same. So Povetkin instead of Miller.
No one wants to see Whyte Wilder and when Browne knocks Whyte out all this speculation gets put to bed anyway. Let’s not forget Whyte went life and death with a shopworn Chisora who dropped a UD to a nobody after beating Whyte. AJ needs to be forceful here now he has a slice of the promotional company and insist on Wilder. He insisted on facing Wlad and he needs to insist on Wilder.
Yep, Hearn's a clever man. Pretty sure Hearn put Povetkin there to.... A) Lose and lose his mandatory spot B) Win and put on a display in front of the UK fans to build the mandatory C) Backup incase Parker has to pull out and then Joshua gets his mandatory out the way
