Hearn wants Wilder/Whyte for Feb 3rd at O2!

Doesn't even need your gut instinct, he already said no the second he claimed that a fight with Whyte, a higher ranking heavyweight than Hughie, would do nothing for his 'legacy'.....So no way he goes near the lesser known and lesser respected in Hughie.

I just don't understand how people can support the guy.

People can cry all they like about how boring the Klit's era was, but if was fighters like Wilder, who wouldn't even face them when they were on the decline, which made that era last longer.

He is deluded, but I have come to believe he is doing all this on purpose just to raise his profile, so that more people will tune him to see him get KTFO vs Joshua, and then he can disappear into the sunset with a career high payday.

Then he can achieve his dream of becoming a professional windmill and produce green energy for a small town somewhere in sunny Alabama.

AJ has to do this because Wilder is NOT A DRAW! Wilder get's 9-10k people into his venues in the middle of nowhere. Wilder has never fought on PPV and is not a household name.

 

Wilder has no legitimate excuse to not fight Whyte.

 

I don't think he really is scared of Whyte, but he realizes that Whyte is a threat to him, and if Wilder loses to Whyte, he probably wouldn't have had a chance for any big fight. And I think that the fight with AJ can happen without a fight with Whyte, Hern's just trying to put pressure on Wilder, and loudly declare who's here "A-side"

 

Wilder wants absolutely nothing to do with people who are more than 10-90 threats. Ortiz was almost 50-50 so they had to wrap that up quickly. Dillion would be maybe 20-80 and that's a no can do.

 

Wilder wouldn't need to be a draw if hes fighting Joshua,the fights sell out anyway. Its Hearn trying to maximize ppv profits world wide specifically U.K fans who never seen wilder fight. . Hearn as promoter is trying to get more $$ which he should do but??? Thats an opinion.

i think Hearn is playing with fire bc if Whyte were to defeat Wilder then what? He still gets a big Whyte rematch but he losses out on the wilder one . Its not worth the risk really, and i would wait until wilder actually defeats Stiverne in a fight he could lose.

People also may not know this but Whyte is going to be sliding in that number one spot very soon anyway, wilder cant exactly state Whyte is not in the picture if Whyte wins Nov. 4th.

 

Hearn might want Wilder-Whyte for Feb 3rd at the O2. It's not gonna happen though. Too much of a risk for Wilder.
