Yes don't get me wrong I am not saying he lacks skill and isn't decent. And I would agree that Whyte took on Parker for more money yes nonetheless its still very difficult to gauge how good he is, hence why he shouldn't be above Whyte or Povetkin in anyone's top 5.

And let me reiterate: Whyte beats him.

That’s a good point I think Miller has too. Damn that’s crazy the only top 10 guys who haven’t been popped are Wilder, AJ, Brezeale, Pulev and Parker.

Do you wanna see that fight: Ortiz vs Whyte? I personally do, I think Ortiz would stop Whyte but I think it’s a good fight and it will be competitive.

Whyte cant even do 12 rounds ffs.

Euro level fighter at best who would get slept by Ortiz. Wilder would send him straight to the hospital and Eddie would move on to using his next bodyguard in line Tony Bellew to trick his hypnotised quackroom sheep followers that they are all avoiding him.

I wish Whyte's team shared your confidence.

I'm a Whyte fan, thinks he's the 5th best heavyweight at the moment closely behind Povetkin but Wilder would
    wipe the floor with him.

Lol such Wilder strokers, do business with a 'peasant' and make 7 million or continue being a 'king' and make 2 mill a fight.

Yeah I think these terms need swapping around.

Anyways boxing is all politics now, I say we do hunger games or mortal combat and air drop each heavyweight onto an Island :D hahaha

Yes would be a good fight and tell us a lot about the division!

ps I would pick Whyte, thinking that Ortiz doesn't have much left in him anymore

come on bro you can't knock Whyte for his self esteem and willingness to fight.

Theres a chance this could still happen too.

The weakness of Ortiz is he doesn’t have a gas tank he fades, so if Whyte can survive being hurt in the first 6 he could come on strong to do the job, however he doesn’t like someone who can tolerate being outboxed for 6 rounds he would get antsy and try drag Ortiz into a tear up and get stopped imo.

Much better than he would do with Wilder. I can see that being a competitive fight.

Whyte could outjab Ortiz for most parts of the fight and wear him down with body shots, Ortiz has not the best
gas tank and the Whyte body shots would be an extremely effective weapon against Ortiz.

But we don't know how Whyte can utilize his jab against a skilled southpaw, Wilder who has a slightly better jab
in my opinion had problems utilizing the jab, if Wilder could have used his jab better against Ortiz, this fight would
have been over within the first 6 rounds because Wilder uses his stiff jab to set up the right hand which he was not
capable of against Ortiz to a certain degree.

Whyte also needs a better gameplan against Ortiz, he shouldn't throw telegraphed punches that much because
Ortiz is a highly skilled counterpuncher and would take advantage of it.

I think this is a 55-45 fight in favor of Ortiz.
