How would Wilder winning guarantee a better split against Joshua? Fury doesn't have a belt, Wilder brings the same bargaining tools to the table.

If the fight was huge with a massive ppv. Wouldn't that just increase the Joshua fight numbers and the split would be the same.

Hearn is probably delighted Fury stepped up and challenged Wilder so his guy doesn't have to.

"Longest Reigning active HW champ v Lineal Champ".......

That's what the Wilder fanboys have been promoting this fight as......

Now were being told that the combined purses reported are around 50% of Joshua v Klitschko.

    Yeah, it's outstanding business.

Wilder 15 million Fury 7 Millions thats not 50/50 which I'm pretty sure both fighters said it was going to be 50/50..

Hearn would be pissed if this fight takes place for sure because it means one less "0" to take and that means less money for him.

I'm surprised at those numbers if they are correct. I'm a bit on the casual side, but I feel like Fury is the bigger draw here and I would think he would expect a better cut of the money. But whatever, I'm glad to see Wilder make some real money. :aaaaa:

I don't see how this is likely to be profitable.

I'm assuming there will be UK TV money from either a network or PPV, but how much if the fight airs at 4 AM?

As far as American PPV, the cable and satellite providers reportedly take half the PPV fee. Even if somehow 500k purchase the fight at $60 each, that leaves the promoter with $30 per order or $15 million.

To cover the $22 million in purses for the main event alone, they need a few million in UK TV money, a live gate of a couple million, plus sponsorship money.

Plus, generally the other fighters, the broadcast crew, and the promoters like to get paid for their work.

I trust what comes out of Hearns mouth about as much as I do what comes out of Tyson Fury’s mouth.

Both men are bull**** artists of the highest order, have a diploma in it and are considered world leading experts in this ancient art.

When Vegas wants a fight, casinos pay a huge site fee to host it because they make millions off the gambling. You have to factor that in there.

If you watch the interview (using your eyes) and listen (using your ears) he still doubts it goes ahead this year.

Inactive Tyson Fury fighting in America? It definitely will not be 50/50!
