Hearn said Joshua vs Wilder won't generate so much money right now, so he will wait around 12 months. Plus he doesn't want to overpay Wilder. More info in the boxingnews main page.
Ill actually be happy with Wilder vs Breazeale albeit i would prefer Whyte to get the shot instead although that said Breazeale wont come for the money, he wont back down and he will actually bring it too Wilder. If Wilder can get him out of there which i dont believe he will be able too i think Wilder might get knocked out or just do enough to steal a points victory, maybe just then you will see that against higher levelled opposition his KO power aint all that. Again until proven otherwise i wont give Wilder the credit and applause until he steps up and proves it. If he goes and blasts Breazeale out in the first 3 rounds, then ill happily say this guy could very well be for real.
Actually I feel like Breazeale might beat Whyte. I am keep telling everyone that Whyte gets overhyped just because of the 2nd round with Joshua.
Taken on aj's leftovers, big step up for wilder! He must have spotted Dominic drinking wine in an alley
I'm not sure Wilder v Breazeale generates more money for Joshua vs Wilder. Fighting Whyte in the UK certainly does. For me, Joshua vs Wilder isn't too dissimilar to Wlad vs Fury.... Pre-fight, neither of the away fighters deserve(d) anywhere near 50%.
I just like how game Whyte is, i believe he wont be a walk in the park for anyone, im not saying hes some world beater tho but i do believe he is a gateway to the elite of the division for sure and could potentially upset the champions on his day
Stiverne was never nothing more than a sack of potatoes who only beat a shot version of Arreola twice.
Still does not change the fact that he was ranked top 4-10 in the division when Wilder got to him, which makes your point moot. It's easy to rip on him now cuz he just got blasted out, but he was still a top 10 fighter no matter what you or anyone says back in early 2015.
