If Wilder wins on Saturday i really think Povetkin is the next opponent if he gets through Price at the end of the month btw.

But why it is Povetkins fault? Yeah, he was allowed to fight another opponent, okay i understand but what did he does? He fought semi-retired Arreola, Washington (he is okay but still nothing special) and an completly ouf of shape and anything else Stiverne II.

Let us be honest...this is a joke. I do not understand why he picked the Arreola fight and then a Top 10 HW but no he took the "easy" road with some Top 20-40 guys.

I am pretty sure he was happy that the Povetkin fight was cancelled...

This doesn't change anything I said.
Wilder is getting a small reward for such fight.
Hearn is right, Wilder's promoter is absolute dog****.

Wilder didn't really have much choice, who else could he fight and then claim to deserve a 50/50 split against Joshua?

Joshua and Parker are two world champions, putting their belts on the line against each other and deserve large money.

Wilder couldn't demand the money he wants while he was continuing to fight the likes of Stiverne, he had to step it up somehow.

Ortiz is dangerous but compared to Wilders last opponets I'd say most top 20 heavyweights are "dangerous".

Washington was dangerous because he is tall and has a decent jab. He acutally outboxed Wilder and it was a very close fight till the knockdown. Stiverne II and Arreola were a walk in the park for Wilder. One completly out of shape and shot and the other semi-retired and fighting for nothing than a nice last paycheck he got anyway.

Why would he be happy if the Povetkin fight was cancelled? Do you not think it is annoying going through a whole camp thinking your gunna face someone, paying to get sparring partners like Gassiev in, flights to the Uk and Russia and then when you get there it’s called off? Would that make you happy?

Arreola was a poor name but it was short notice opponent, Washington was not a bad name top 10-15 guy at the time and undefeated, Stiverne 2 wasn’t his fault blame the WBC and Ortiz for that. He paid Stiverne step aside money so he could fight Ortiz and Ortiz tested positive.

It’s Povetkins fault for having banned substances in his system, he didn’t test dirty on his first test or the second or the third it was way down the line.

I don’t care what Wilder gets paid, I just know that Wilder vs Ortiz is better than Wilder vs Whyte from a fans perspective.

K then make a thread on that?
This is about what Hearn said and he is absolutely right.

This is Wilder's biggest fight and the reward is the same as he got for Washington and Stiverne. Embarrassing!

The fight was scheduled for May 21 (2016) and was cancelled a week before i think and Wilder picked Arreola for the next month as an opponent so the camp was not for nothing. I do not think he was happy at the moment but probably a couple of months later because he knew if he got demolished there his big career with big paychecks would be over before it started. We both know that.

I do not blame Wilder for not fighting Povetkin or Ortiz before because it wasn't his fault but i blame him for picking a walk in the park for years now. If i want to challenge a guy like Povetkin and the fight got cancelled due to any reason i have no chance to influence i do not fight three guys two or three classes below for the next two years.

The Ortiz fight is the last chance for Wilder to place his name where he wants to place it. If he wins this comfortably the door is open although he took a big risk but if he will lose this it should be over for him taking any big paydays in the future. His talk 50/50 AJ is the biggest BS i ever heard. Maybe if he beats Ortiz and Povetkin...but before? Not even 90/10. The problem is i really think he is confident about himself without doing anything significant in the HWD so far. His resume is not even Top 5.

I honestly think Wilder has issued a threat to his own promoters. Put him in with Ortiz or say goodbye to his services. I honestly think he has cottoned on to the fact his promoters have been protecting him and this is why he isnt loved by all Americans like he feels he should be and that is why he aint earning much money compared to Joshua. His own people have let him down and he now knows this.

His handlers would of been happy to see Stiverne 3 and maybe Stiverne 4 before the big AJ cash out.

Are you serious so Parker can get 35% but Wilder can’t even get 10% lol delusional talk.

I give wilder flak for his choice of opponents to this stage but I won’t give him any flak for the last two years coz Ortiz and Povetkin carelessness have cost him time. He needs to step up and he is and if he beat Ortiz I only want him fighting top guys after that. No one outside of the top 10.

I'm sticking to the topic at hand. You just don't like the replies to your own damn thread.

Hearn is making fun of Wilder's pathetic pay.
    'Very small amount of money'.
Easy to read between the lines.

I don’t mind the comments at all, it is high risk however I don’t see it as low reward. If beats Ortiz he has a career best win, he get his name out there more and he brings more power to the negotiation table.

I don't think that Wilder cares that much either, he has his sights set on Joshua and he feels a win here should put right there. He don't care for Hearn and how Hearn tried to manipulate who he fights like he's the premier promoter and calling the shots. If he beats Ortiz by knockout he will demand Joshua and if Hearn duck that then he will have his fighter labeled a coward. Joshua is not ducking, it's Hearn.
