If it happens people will see a fighter like Wilder make 4 times his previous highest payday fighting on DAZN and then question why they themselves are not fighting on that platform. It's a bold and smart move from Hearn and honestly it's a win/win for Wilder, easy win, huge payday, doesn't have to travel.

 

True we need to know more about what is actually being offered but from what we know it seems like an incredible offer. As long as there's no options on Wilder than I can't see why he shouldn't take it.

 

It may create a quandary for al Haymon, does he advise wilder to take a great deal but in the process run the risk of alienating showtime? They will want to deny Dazn access to fighters wherever possible. Of course that may be Hearns intention, splitting them up. The political side of this is fascinating!

If Wilder can make a deal with Tyson Fury, that’s definitely the way to go. 1. Whyte has just beaten two good perceived opponents and right now he is the man.
2. Whyte is in the box seat to fight AJ now so Wilder is going to miss out again..
3. If he fights (which I doubt) Fury and wins it still won't be seen as a good a scalp as Whyte because of the obvious Fury coming back from the dead as opposed to Whyte being in career best form..
4. If AJ is as bad as WBSR™ then Whyte has a great chance of beating AJ making him liable to cut Wilder out..

Really its only Wilder's team's arrogance that they are not taking Hearns money from him.. Really everyone else is getting rich while Wilder misses out..
