Hearn will win purse bid, will Ward fight in UK or drop belt?

    I feel the fight is NOT going to happen because Ward will feel he can call all of the shots but doesn't have the money for the purse bid. Froch is the active fighter with the bigger draw he should be Aside. Hearn will win bid and want fight in UK and Ward will most likely drop out of the fight. IDK why Ward even has the WBA belt NOW I understood why he had it 3 years ago but shouldn't he of been stripped? From a business standpoint WBA is smart they want to use Frochs visibility since he is retiring to put Ward back on the map BUT will Ward take the fight in the UK with PED testing?

    So you think Rock nation has no money for a purse bid?? and if anything it is Froch who doesn't want the fight..and why would Ward have to go to the UK??? did we forget he is the one who won the damn fight?

    I want to see a rematch in the UK

    Plus with Ward having sat on the sidelines for so long the fight will be interesting

    The Froch hype is over man, he is limited,slow and only looks good against other UK level fighters

    What makes you think that Froch wont just drop this belt like he did the IBF belt?

    He wants a big money Vegas style fight to end his career. Ward doesn't give him that.

    Froch is at the point of his career, where I don't think he cares about belts

    I'm a fan of both and you can see me on numerous threads defending Ward BUT I would rather support an active limited fighter that has accomplished a lot more than what many thought he would over a talented prima Donna who is inactive. The Ward hype died 2 years ago where have you been?

    If Chavez beats Fonfara, whats to stop Froch-Chavez being next?

    Froch recently said he has no interest in fighting Ward and only wants big money fights.

    He said if he cant get a big money fight, he'll probably just retire.

    Dawson beat BHOP but if he wanted a fight right now you think Dawson would call the shots? Ward has been inactive and HBO turned down his last 2 tune ups that Ward wanted 2 million for a piece. Froch lost 3 years ago and in that time has adone a lot more for the division than Ward has including beating Bute who Ward should of fought and beating Groves who beat Degale. If it was 3 years ago for a rematch I could see Ward calling the shots but it isn't 3 years ago. Im a fan of Ward but he had a clear path after the Super6 he should of fought Bute instead of Rodriguez who? Then all he had to do was reign or move up and he did netheir.

    Degale had his shot but lost to Groves otherwise Froch was going to fight him. After the Groves fight Froch planned to fight Degale but got mandated to fight his mandatory again. After the 80,000 stadium fight an OLD Froch c'mon he has been talking retirement since Bute and with all the wars he is a lot older in boxing years deserves to go out ticking his Las Vegas box. Degale brings nothing to America.

    He got injured so Chaves is fighting WBC number 3 or 4 Fonfara and then Froch by end of summer.
