Hearn will win purse bid, will Ward fight in UK or drop belt?

    Ward didn't want anything to do with Bute. Goossen was going to pull Ward out of the S6 if Bute was added as a replacement. After the S6 Bute was #2 at SMW, undefeated, had the IBF belt and better performances vs common opponents than Ward. Ward said that the S6 winner should fight Bute. He didn't want any part of Bute. Opted for the genius move of fighting the LHW champ at SMW instead lol

    The point is Froch gave up his IBF belt rather than fight DeGale so I would be surprised if he didn't do the same thing with Ward and his WBA belt.

    He said he will no way give up his WBA wants to fight Ward in England. This would be great. A big rocnation show would have been good too though, bu this would a really interesting fight in Nottingham.

    We'll see. I have my doubts about Carl having any genuine interest in rematching Ward in the future.

    Nah after a bit of thought i reckon he'll go for it. Surely somebodys is in his ear telling him the Chavez fight is just ****ing stupid. He'll trust Eddie too to make a big event of it. They should get Roc nation involved in some way, get it well hyped.

    Not many other fights out there. Maybe Pacal if he wins, he wasnt keen on Kessler, doubt he'd want a Dirrell fight Hopkins ect. Ward is the way too go. I belive him

    Actually he was in talks for Hopkins it says in the article posted above that it went from steering talks away from Hopkins people to Ward.

    Yes he said it would be a great way to end his career. It also said he wants it in the UK and I am sure he will push Hearns to win the purse bid. I want to see Wards reaction and if he is as willing as Froch sounds. Ward lately has been getting turned down by HBO for tuneups that he wants to get paid as if he is fighting stiff comp.

    Fight will not happen because froch doesnt want this fight. Hes said it loads of times, this fight doesnt interest him.

    Andre Ward beat Froch too comfortably in the first fight in order for people to pay for a second.

    Plus ward would never fight in the uk he would say he'll get robbed.

    This fight isn't happening in the uk you can forget that.
