No chance Ward comes to England and accepts drug testing. Ward vacates

Hey Capt , i think you missed the part where WBA forces them to fight , and Froch stated he wont vacate and go for a purse bid win to fight in his home town , he dares Andre to come over , so there is no room for a tuneup i feel , unless he vacates and becomes a mandatory or something and then look for a Froch fight , but by then Froch will retire or Chavez -> retire.
I say Ward should take it and come back to the center stage of the boxing world in a heart beat , he was missing for too long and 2-3 tune ups and then looking for a big fight will make him irrelevant for a total of 3+ years which is bad.
    LETS DO IT!!!

JayZ will blow Eddie Hearn out of the water if it comes to purse bids, if that happens Froch will give his belt up and either get the Chavez fight or retire. THIS FIGHT IS NOT HAPPENING.

I would love it if the cherrypicked Chavez KO'd Froch.

    This fight won't happen.

    1)
Ward will never travel to UK

    2)
Froch wouldn't fight for a 25/75-split against Ward ... a fight he would draw the audience.
Froch would make more cash fighting mickey mouse in Nottingham

I would too, but Froch would be to much for Chavez.

    This is really simple.

If Ward wants to have anything like a meaningful fight and make money, he has Roc contact Hearn and take 25% to fight in UK. And by 25%, also include 25% of net gate and Sky boxoffice.

Even at 25%, if the fight is in UK Ward still makes several million dollars.

If the fight is in the US, HBO maybe offers up a total of 2mil license fee to split between the 2. Its not PPV, it wont have a huge gate, it wont generate huge money.

Cant believe some Ward "fans" dont want him to travel to UK and take a winnable fight where he would make a career high payday. Yeah Froch will make a lot more but so what, Froch is the draw. Ward just provides that B-side credibility factor. Ward should take the fight as B-side in UK and revitalize his career.

If Ward does not take this opportunity, he either is not really interested in fighting or else his ego wont let him be the B-side. In which case if its about Wards ego, his career is basically done because noone is paying him millions for tuneups and no money fighter is giving him the greater purse split. He may as well just retire.

Meh, Froch couldn't give one about the belts, he'll get stripped and so what really.
Leave Ward to be dismantled by DeGale.

this indeed encapsulates the situation for ward , you either jump start your dead career skipping the 1 year of tune ups (like Floyd did with Marquez) and get right back to pole position from a P4P perspective , or you get stripped and start over giving other fighters the chance to duck you and thus feel like GGG , being ducked by other champions ,Ward should hold on to his titles because ITS ALL HE GOT.

His wife and kids can watch him school Froch again.

Frochs fans wont help him in the ring.

Be a nice holiday for the kids though. Get to see the sights and sounds of greater Nottingham.

Take them out to Sherwood forest and let them re-live the wonder

I do quite like this paragraph.

‘Also, a lot went wrong for me in that Super Six final. I was looking forward to appearing in Madison Square Garden but it was moved to Atlantic City .Out on the shore in the cold of mid-winter. Disappointing. The date was pushed back so I had to hang around in America a lot longer than planned. It ended up a week before Christmas and my mind was on getting home to the family instead of the fight."

Apparently the cold/wet weather affected the man from Nottingham terribly :lol:

How many excuses did he fit into that one paragraph?
