Ryder will be the underdog with the bookies but I think he will outwork BJS as well.

Ryder on points for me all be it very tight on the cards.

Does any one know how much the purse bids were for the fight? im just curious because I saw a video on youtube last week that had FW on, saying that in 20 years they have never lost a purse bid to Matchroom, and now he has, so Eddie must of gone in big?

Frank and Hearn bid the same so it went down to the tie breaker, frank only offered rooms in the travellodge were as Hearn got a special offer on groupon for the Hilton that frank didn't know about, so by default hearn got the bid, frank has lodged a complaint with groupon that he didn't receive the weekly specials email to notify him

Your wide of the mark here, although Eddie did have a special internet saver deal with the Hilton, Frank in fact offered Bunce's spare room and a tent which could be pitched in Lillis's back garden

Think BJS might win this one pretty well. Ryder did a nice job counterpunching on the backfoot against a crude O'Kane but he's going to have a harder job implementing that approach against a southpaw with decent movement and probably the edge in speed. He will probably need to change up his approach in this one which unless you're exceptionally adaptable puts you at a slight disadvantage going in.

That said Ryder was different when I saw him live, but that was against dross competition.

yeah but that was a proper grudge match and groves was Olympic gold meddalist and both were high profile, normal British title fights go for 20-40k
