I'd take Hearns over Rocky and Zale over Tommy.

Ditto. In the case of Hearns-Graziano, it comes down to who gets nailed first, and that's Rocky. Neither guy could take the best shot of the other, but I doubt the slower and shorter Graziano would be afforded much of a chance to deliver his ball on chain right.

Zale was more durable, and that deadly body attack would wear Tommy down badly. Hearns wouldn't get to the final bell.

Hearns-Graziano, either man could win. Hearns would be run down by Zale though. As previously stated, Tony was far sturdier and brought too much pressure.

I always thought of Iran Barkley as a black Rocky Graziano and he beat Hearns 2 times...but with Rocky's unterrific defense who really knows for sure

I'd pick Hearns over both. The Zale fight could go either way.

    Same here.

Not only that, but Zale was actually pretty quick on his feet during his (pre-war) prime.

Here he is against Al Hostak, who was about the same height as Hearns and may have hit even harder at MW:

By contrast, Hearns' reflexes and footwork had slowed when he moved up from jr. MW.
