Fair enough. I actually think Bivol (and Kovalev) are underrated on this forum. Just in my mind I can't see the styles meshing well for him imo.
Great debate so far for either Bivol and Hearns, really liked reading them as both guys are two of my favorite fighters. But to add to what you said about Arthur hurting him to the body, it reminded me of how Tommy also had a mean left body hook that could do damage to Bivol as well.
Styles make fights. Someone like Beterbiev who's big at the weight very aggressive and hits hard would be a bad style match up for Hearns similar to how Barkley was. Bivol on the other hand is a boxer type with mediocre power who's had 1 stoppage in 6 years and he's also had a few issues vs rangy boxers. Now I'm not saying Hearns necessarily beats Bivol but stylistically Hearns matches up alot better vs Bivol than he does Beterbiev that's for sure.
Even tho Hearns had dumped him as his trainer, Steward still picked the underdog Hearns and said something about Hill still being an amateur and Hearns a pro. It's in play here too and is what some in the thread are alluding to.
