We all know what happen Hearns-Leonard 1 where Leonard hurts him in the mid rounds and finishes him in the 14th. And we also know how Leonard was pummeled in the rematch only to receive a controversial draw against the Hit Man.

What do you think happens in the trilogy if these two had fought shortly after the second fight?:think

I am too biased to even really be taken serious in this one, as I think Hearns finishes the job this time. I think his chin is severely underrated, as that stoppage in the 14th was the only one he suffered at that weight. And I think he had a better upside than Leonard at that point in their careers. Again, I am admittedly biased on this one, so don't go after me to hard for my opinion.

    Poll coming soon.

Hearns beats Leonard seven rounds to five, but the judges give it to Leonard based on the fact that he threw more ineffective punches and it makes a better 'golden boy' story.

Hearns gets so sick of boxing's bull**** that he jacks it all in and goes to live in Italy.

    I'm over it. Really.

Seriously, though. I'd go with Hearns. I thought he clearly won the second and he'd be even hungrier in any third.

    :good;)

    Hearns had a glass jaw.

STFU and GTFOH with that ***** ****.

At 147, Hearns was stopped once by one of the greatest WW ever. No one else even came close. That is not the sign of a glass chin.

    Did he ****.

He was only KO'd twice in his prime; once in the 14th round after an absolute war and once against one of the greatest middleweights of all-time.

Hearns did not have a granite chin, but he could take punishment. The punishment he took against Hagler and SRL would have felled a lot of other fighter before Tommy went down.

Hearns gets a decision as "justice" for the outcome of their second fight, unless there is a knockout (I doubt it) or if he loses more than 8 rounds.

if this fight took place this year it would be a much better fight than jones-hopkins ii, and i'd give leonard the win. the man is 53 or so and looks younger than mosley.
