Absolutely. Which is why his team won’t take the rematch.

Fury did it before him. VLAD before him. Except they actually won the belts rather than buying the belts

I'm not buying all the MR bravado at present, as I said days ago a lot of that is PR to keep his brand up. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if there are "negotiation" difficulties and Hearn spins it as Ruiz ducking then spends the next few (pre-retirement) fights telling everyone it's all part of the Journey Back. Better to fill Wembley a few times with can opponents than risk it all against Ruiz in the US and risk AJ humiliated.

I think this really all depends on the terms of the rematch.

I do agree with you but at the end of the day he’s achieved so much already, the last thing to achieve is being undisputed. I can’t see him letting that opportunity to gain 3 belts again slip (not saying he will win). He gives it a go, if he doesn’t win then he retires a very rich man. I just can’t see him carrying on if he loses, he’s got 0 to gain and only his legacy to be further tarnished.

Does anyone see any way the chinny robot can last twelve against the tubby little Mexican?

    Me neither.

    He can totally beat him
Saturday just showed that AJ can also be beaten
Its a 50 50 for me going in to the rematch
He just has to take 0 risks
    Stick to a plan
Shoot outs only if Andy is totally ready to be knocked out

Remember when Hearn savaged Mick Hennessy for agreeing to a rematch clause with Wlad when Fury was mandatory anyway? Firstly Mick agreed to that term to strike a fight deal and avoid a purse bid.

Secondly, looks like Hearn has dropped the ball big time with a shoddy rematch clause lmfao! Another one for the hypocrisy compendium.

    “Eddie Hearns said...”

Immediately postfight yes there is a rematch clause and it’ll be in the uk in December

Couple of hours later it’ll probably be in the uk of course

Couple of days later big iosh WANTS to fight in the US

couple of weeks time it’ll be “they don’t want it koogs what can we do? Al gay man as I call him isn’t returning my calls, so we’re going with delboy WAR chisora at the O2”

Then the sky brains trust will have a clear narrative to parrot and we’re off to the races again.

Meanwhile the top guys will continue to face off against each other no problems and big josh will continue to clear out the division two/ three scrubs

If you think this is in any way shape or form a 50:50 fight you should be lumping on the underdog with the bookies

the tubby Mexican is 5/2 to son big josh for a second time
