Wilder should definitely take that offer if he wants one name, one face, blah blah blah if that offers right, looks like they are trying to make sensible offers at last ( to get the fight done ) or expose wilder as a bottler that is. should have put it out there earlier for us all to see not that I care what they earn just want to see the fight lol

The IBF already gave to Warrington an exception to fight Frampton. Kid Galahad showed the email response he got from the IBF confirming that they counted the Warrington vs Frampton fight as Unification as Frampton was Interim Champion.

He was a top 5 HW at the time. Plenty - myself included - picked him to win. He damn nearly did too.

If the WBC didn't want him to lose his belt, they wouldn't order a rematch against a guy who just clearly beat him. Calling it the Wilder bodyguard council kinda tells me you aren't going to be useful to discuss this with though.

That's my point. He was allowed to unify against Frampton so could skip his mandatory but they're enforcing the mandatory now, even if he was to try to fight Valdez instead.

so given the dodgy result against Fury, the dodgy referee/ doctor intervention in the Ortiz fight, oh and the fact that he was barely passed medically fit to fight and the less than impressive list of title challengers, are you seriously telling me that Wilders title reign hasn't been helped along somewhat by the WBC?

Oh and I also fancied Ortiz to win but, that's more because I think Wilder is a one trick pony

Wilder better take offer now and make this fight happen... as that is as good a deal as he is going to get.

He better travel to the UK for it as it is a fight I really want to see.

    60/40 is extremely fair.

    Take the fight!!!!! No excuse!!!!!!

I don't know how many times I've heard someone say Wilder better take that offer because it's the best he's going to get ... and then the next offer is better.

Hearn started with a flat fee (take it or leave it).

    Then it was 65-35.

    Now Hearn's offering 60-40.

If Wilder knocks out Fury in the rematch, it'll be 55-45 or 50-50.

Regardless, Wilder-Fury II will be this spring. They agreed to two fights from the outset.

Wilder has more title defenses and never traveled and had a sanctioned fight as a champion?

Unless you count the one time to L.A outside Lou Dibellas Barclays center or his local Alabama venue ? And not including him high tailing out of a U.K airport the second the Povetkin accusations came up.

Do your research and you'll find AJ has fought outside England. It might be difficult if you're a Wilder fan so take caution don't over excert yourself.

Yet it's AJ's fault that the fight didn't happen ?

You posted a time line showing Wilder avoiding the fight, you realize that right ?

Of course you left out the part where Wilder agreed to 15 million and lost his pen ,I wonder why ? :periodico:

Many also picked him bc they thought Ortiz had a 84 inch reach and was younger by like 10 years almost.

I changed my pick to Ortiz based on Wilders weight and I didn't know he would fail a pre physical hours before. I should put my own asterisk on it but I didnt.

I did for the Fury fight because he clearly won!

The Dr's intervention in the Ortiz fight was perfectly legit by the NYSAC rules, absolutely nothing to do with the WBC. And fact remains that Ortiz WAS passed medically fit for the fight and has continued to fight since. His run pre-Ortiz was poor, no doubt about that. Fighters having a list of poor defenses is hardly evidence that an Org body is specifically protecting a fighter and if the WBC were doing that then the rematch wouldn't be ordered.

He is a one trick pony to some degree. He can box off the back foot against the Stiverne's of this world but ultimately that one trick he does have is quite the ****ing trick.

I'll be honest with you. I can barely sit through more than 2 minutes of a Deonkey Wilder interview. I find him crass, insulting to the highest standards and traditions of the sport that has provided so much for him, his dissing of the likes of Louis and Iron Mike just astounds me, he's undignified and mildly ******ed. I think that if AJ and Fury especially were to dethrone him, the heavyweight division and boxing in general would benefit greatly.

Do I have an agenda? absolutely. I'm a Brit and pretty much all my favourite fighters barring Froch and Calzaghe are all American. The likes of Hagler, Hearns, Whitaker, Leonard, Ali, Frazier, Foreman etc. took on all comers and all challenges. Their main motivations seemed to be bragging rights over their respective opponents, being THE man in their division and building a legacy that will be talked about for generations. Just do me a favour and wake me up when Deonkey finally attempts to raise himself up to such lofty aspirations. Basically his whole career has been beyond disappointing. Has potentially the boxing world at his feet and appears to just not give a ****.

Should be no less than 55-45. 65-35 is a crap offer.

Yeah making himself look like he's trying to make the big fights for AJ happen when he isn't. He can't handle the spotlight not being on him and AJ but as usual, the matchroom fans believe everything he says and take it as gospel. He'll make AJ v Whyte next claiming that Wilder and Fury are ducking and that Whyte was the only one willing to step up to the plate.
