Roy Jones outboxed Toney pretty clearly.

You were probably busy seeing Floyd-Baldomir for the 1000 time and never got see Jones schooling LightsOut.

Toney does have one of the greatest chins ever, but McClellan wasn't the man to test it.
Have you ever boxed before? I have, and many others who have can also attest to it making no difference. It's punches you don't see that hurt you, sometimes the headgear blocks your vision so if anything they make it more likely for you to be knocked out. They are for preventing cuts.

This is fantastic! Four of my favourite fighters of all -time!!! I would pick Hearns over the bodysnatcher and Toney comfortably over the G-man . .. I could see James stopping him!

Great, great stuff! that was the Zenith of boxing fellas . . . we will never see that level of boxing again.

Wow, are you serious? I have boxed before and i know firsthand it makes a difference. I don't care who agrees with you, because they're prolly ******ed. It's simple science, something as thick as headgear would obviously act as a shock buffer for punches. Just like how boxing gloves take away impact from fists so you dont break your bones.

It's not only for cuts bro, its to lessen the impact as well. You don't want people getting Ko'd, broken bones and bruises when you're just sparring.
