Does AA Spark him or Could Hearns box his head off?

My opinion would be that there is a huge gulf in class between them and Hearns would destroy him.

Thomas Hearns would have killed him. It wouldn't even be close.

    Hearns vs superquick AA?

    Hmmm:think

I'm not sure even AA can use his lightning footwork to avoid a HEARNS bomb

I'll go with either Hearns KO or Hearns KO

either/or take your pick Hearns takes it

    :good

Hearns would totally outbox and dominate until AA, badly battered and cut, hits him square on the chin in the middle to late rounds.

This fight is slightly reminiscent of Hearns - Barkley. AA stops him after being outclassed.

I LOVE Thomas Hearns, he's in my top 3 favorites of all time and I'm not an AA fan at all.

But we all know Thomas likes to brawl even if he was such a good boxer. AA hits like a truck, and I think Iran Barkley is a lesser puncher than AA. Is it possible that AA could take a few punches from Hearns and put Tommy to sleep? Hmm...

Hearns would box his face in, and then get a 12th rd TKO

EDIT: although, it would be interesting if Hearns started brawling with him, as mentioned above ...

Hearns takes this imo, but - like it or not - AA will always have his puncher's chance.

Hearns is Hearns so of course he's going to look to trade. As much as I like & am a fan of him, AA by KO. Still he has great boxing abilities & great power so a Hearns UD or TKO isn't unlikely either.

I think Hearns outpoints AA but doesnt stop him afterall Abraham had a great chin at the weight as well as a decent defence, it would be a comfortable points decision with a few awkward moments for both fighters.

Hearns wide UD. Abraham´s combination of chin and defense is too good to be stopped even by someone like Hearns but he can´t win this. Perhaps in one out of ten he lands a bomb and puts Hearns to sleep but that´s it.

At 160, AA has a great late chance of cracking Hearn's questionable chin. I've always considered Hearns an ATG at the lower weights - one of the greatest WWs ever. He was more mortal at 160 and up.

Tommy knocks him the **** out.

Who has Abraham traded with that is in any way comparable to Hearns... and won?

Abraham isn't as fast as Hagler, doesn't punch as hard as Hagler and definitely wouldn't have taken the right hands and uppercuts that were eaten for breakfast like Marvin did.

The issue with Tommy's chin is massively overstated, it's not as if he was put down by someone with Ottke-esque power, or tooled by a sissy like Dirrell either.
