Hearns vs Hagler at Lt Heavyweight

    I love Marvin. Exciting fighter who came to fight, but he did want to fight the guys at the lower divisions like Hearns,Duran,Leonard. I would have liked to have seen him test himself moving up to Spinks. People say well he was too small. Look, Hearns had a reach of 78 1/2. Spinks was I think 77,,, and Hagler? you would think was 72, it was 75 inch reach. He could do ok.

    Sandy Saddler was taller and had more reach than Marciano, yet he was clearly too small for him....

    Tommy Hearns is my all time favourite boxer and I believe at L/H he would have schooled the Marvelous one with his superior boxing skills and better physique at this weight. Marvin would have struggled at this weight IMO, although I still say he's the best Middleweight of all time.

    I think Hagler wins a rematch at middleweight but Hearns wins at lightheavy. As the weight increases the body structure differences favour Hearns.
