i was just watching this fight and jesus christ they both looked so slow and hit each other at will pretty much. Hearns knockdown of leonard was insanely nice. but still this fight was just sad to watch after seeing there first fight so many times.

I thought it was a great fight, honestly. Sure they may have faded, and Hearns clearly won in my mind, but it was exciting in a way the first one wasnt.

Hearns was my favourite fighter of the 80s and I have no time for Leonard what so ever, but there is no way Tommy won clearly.

Hearns may of deserved to win clearly, but the fight was scored under 10 point must. If you that properly I can see Hearns winning no clearer than 113/112, hardly a convincing win. Thus it fairly easy to understand how the fight was scored a draw.

It was a great fight but yes they weren't what they were.

Leonard just looked a bit too muscled, slower and flat footed.

Great stuff but it was hard for them. Like great fighters they dug deep.

A draw or 113-112 Hearns was fair.

This fight meant very little at this point in their respective careers.

Hearns gained redemption, it helped his legacy no end, by wiping out a demon that had been on his back for eight years.

It was a moral victory but no real redemption. It was ruled a draw which isn't a controversial decision.

If there wasn't some much Leonard hatred, fans would flip the script and say if it was 15 rounds, the fight was going the exact same way as the first.

How many of the judges (or you guys) gave Leonard any 10-8 rounds? That was the real controversy in the scoring, you could either give Leonard no 10-8s and Hearns wins easily or give Leonard 2 10-8s and its a very close fight.

I gave Leonard one or two 10-8s depending on how I'm feeling. Rounds 5 and 12 were becoming slaughters.

No 10-8s and Hearns still only wins by two points.
