In my humble opinion neither was their best at MW. I feel that Hearns would lead on the cards and stop him at some point after 6 at 160.

But at 154 I'll take Hearns in no more than 3 rounds. PFP the Hitman at 154 is one of the most brutal forces to ever lace them up. Had he been blessed with LaMottas mandible he'd be almost unbeatable below light heavyweight

Thomas Hearns a good fighter, and a pretty good champion in his era. He was taught by one of the best, Emmanuel Stewart, and worked out with other great fighters at the Kronk gym. He fought a lot of Hall of Fame caliber opponents during his career. He was tall, had a long snappy left jab, and a crushing right hand, which put many opponent to sleep after being hit with it. Against John Mugabi, who can hit just as hard, Tommy woud be facing a pressure fighter, who rocked Marvelous Marvin Hagler in their 1986 title bout, before he tired and was knocked out by Hagler. The glaring weakness on Hearns is his chin, which let him down against Barkley, Hagler, and Leonard. Mugabi will keep constant pressure on Hearns and hit his thin build with hard body punches. It will end for Tommy in round 8, after taking a strong right hand to the jaw.
