Hearns would have iced him early. Terrible match up for Aaron. In the amateurs, Pryor defeated a 17 year old Hearns in a very tight decision.

This feels like a very easy hypothetical. Can't see anything but a Hearns KO. Taking Arguello's best is a wholly different thing from taking Hearns's best.

Hearns in about 23 seconds, the minute the cross lands on Aaron.

Horrible matchup in the pros for Pryor.

    Hearns was bigger and better.

Hearns by KO probably in the mid rounds. He's got too much height, weight, reach for the smaller Pryor. Pryor wouldn't be able to get inside consistently to do damage and would be open for Hearns long range power.

I like Aaron Pryor, and it would be great to see him pull off something special, but I really see this ending more like Hearns vs. Duran.
Hearns was even faster at 147 than he was at 154, and Aaron doesn't defend as good as Roberto, I can't see it ending well for him.
That being said, it's boxing, anything can happen.
Would have loved to see Pryor against Leonard, or Duran, those should end up being better matches.

honestly, closer to 135 vs 147. Hearns was longer...sharper...better boxer...MUCH harder hitting but Pryor had stamina, faster hands and better feet. when he gets in pryor has success but it's rare. Steward keeps Hearns using his feet, making distance and landing the odd right. by the 10th, the ref stops in much to Pryor's protests

I would favor Hearns early. Dujuan Johnson, a poor man's Hearns stylistically, had Pryor reeling consistently. Hearns would have finished the job.
