Were you implying that Brooklyn had a problem with Pea?

Tito was dropping a shot, crack head out of rehab version of Pea, nowhere near the Pea that beat Chavez or McGirt. I guarantee a prime Pea thoroughly outboxes Tito.

Anyways, though that was a D level version of Whitaker, Tito is no Hearns either, so your point is taken. Hearns wouldn't be landing like Tito was in the second half of their fight, especially with as little effective response, but he'd outbox Whitaker handily due to his proportions even if he didn't stop him.

NO, NO disrespect to Sweet Pea, I just think a Hearns is a freak of nature at WW and even the Sweet Pea that fought Buddy McGirt would still have difficulties avoiding a PRIME Hitman..

As we know Pernell's prime was hardly 147 and I have him higher P4P than Tommy Hearns:good

I agree, I think Hearns would take this fight by clear UD or even a possible late stoppage. All wrong for Pea, but Pea had too much fight in him to go down like a bum, he proved that even when totally shot against Tito. That leads me to believe this would be a UD for Hearns, I think Whitaker was just too resilient to get stopped. But if there is anyone that could stop Pea at 147, it would be Hearns.

Whitaker would find a way to out manuever Hearns and out think him. Brilliant defense against a brilliant offense. I would give the nod to Whitaker.
