Has anyone heard of, or read the book "Heart of a Champion:The Rusty Rosenberger Story?" I am 36 years old, and I have read this book, and it is absolutely the best. Although I am older, and could never be a boxer, after reading this book, I started training like a boxer, and absolutely love it! This book is very inspiring, and to all young boxers, a must read. To all you older fans, does anybody remember Rusty Rosenberger? He was the 1979 New Jersey Middleweight champion. What does anybody think of him? He lives in Niles, Ohio. He has his own website, called http://www.rustysbodyboxing.com/. Please check it out.:thumbsup
I never heard of the guy, but his story sure looks interesting. And his boxing exercise program sure must be effective - the guy looks in exceptional shape for 50 years old!
hey dude i box and train with rusty...i did bodyboxing for quite some time and now am training to the head and going to compete....i dont think i have ever seen anyone in such immaculate shape...his conditioning is unbelievable...they guy is a down to earth gentlemen who can really punch and knows everything you need to know about boxing...i would def give him a call and train with him because he will push you to your full physical potential and get you in shape...i promise you that if u r in good shape now...he will push you further than ever....i cant say enough good things about the guy... he is a great man with a story to tell...i feel very unfortunate about what happened to him and truly sorry...i know that if all of that wouldnt have happened he would have been the middleweight champion of the world...i have talked to a few guys who trained with him in the seventies and eighties and said he was a unbelievable boxer...give him a call he would love to hear from u...
