Russell Jr fights at 126 we don't know how far inoues power will carry on top of that Russell jr has a chin. Loma at 126 dropped him but he punches harder than inoue will at 126 most likely. Russell Jr can punch as well and he's still blazing fast. He lost that last fight because he was clearly injured fighting with one arm against a guy who dwarfed him in the ring and magsayo still had a difficult time with him. I would pick a healthy Russell Jr to beat magsayo in the rematch.
We don't know how Inoue will deal with the size at 126. Inoue fights in a weight class where the fighters don't even look like men. Not trying to insult him, but it's just the truth, they are that small. Once you get to Featherweight you are still talking about very small guys, but at that point they start to actually look like grown men, just very tiny men. Donaire found out real quick that 126 is a whole new game in terms of size and power.
Russell fights to lose and rhen make excuses. He should've not fought if he was hurt. I'd love the fight though, obvi he is talented.
Donaire actually won a title at 126 though, he did lose it pretty quick, but he still did manage to win a title. He's a lot bigger than Inoue, but he's also bigger than Pac, who is a little taller than Qawi. I guess I'm sort of agreeing, saying that you never know, but in a more optimistic way.
Inoue an ATG puncher, Canelo is not even domestic league in this area. Iron Mike KTFO ppl. outweighing him by 25%, so no extra weight added and Inoue's explosive accuracy should carry up to 140. Add 10-14 lbs of muscle his young body can handle, and sky is the limit. He has that kind of unnatural power. Some call him Kaiju Inoue.
Since every shot that Inoue throws is lethal now, I can definitely see his power carrying up to 126. And he doesn't really put his full weight into them, either. That **** just flows like electricity.
Inoue will KO both. Both get tagged to the body easily by vastly interior fighters. Their bodies are gonna be open season.
It is possible.. although that slick African American style could pose some problem to Inoue cause I can’t recall he ever face one mind alone someone bigger, longer and in his prime. I think Inoue match up better with MJ, similar height, defence relies on feet and love a tear up.
True about Fulton, but B-Figs and Roman were able to hit him and hit him often. Inoue's faster, punches harder, is far more skilled, has exceptional footwork, excellent ring-cutting ability, and has laser accuracy.
Would love to see it.. but I read somewhere, Fulton and MJ fight is far from fruition with lots of mandatories commitment.. so we might actually get Inoue vs Fulton first.
Domestic league? I think thats a term used for soccer so im not entirely sure what you meant by that. If you meant boxing leagues then Canelo And Inoue are similiar both having titles in ,IBF, WBA,WBC, WBO and Ring but Canelo is superior with almost twice as many Victories and knockouts. I like Inoue and without a doubt is a bright star with a great future but I disagree that he can move up to 130lbs and defeat Shakur. Canelo thought he could do that at 175lbs and he was proven wrong and the same would happen to Inoue. Theres alot more going on then just putting on weight and muscle mass. Natural size, bone structure, density ect.. and these cant be changed. You brought up Mike Tyson so here is 1 example, Tysons wrist diameter was 8in which is unheard of for his height and this amongst many unique natural features. Tyson was a special specimen and there is no comparison.
