That is funny.......because you actually believe it. :nut The MMA guys get hit, and it is lights out.......they can't take a shot, pretty much at all the different weights.
Theres a whole lot of different factors to that.. The gloves are tiny... unlike boxing. You have to watch for a lot more than just punches.. thus you can get surprised with a shot. It's the shots you don't see coming that knock you out. You don't get the 8 count.
9 out of ten times in MMA it is the hands that stop the guy, via punching, not kicks. Sometimes they tap out.
If you mean 9/10 times its stopped by standing KO, which I think you do, yes, if you mean 9/10 times total, absolutely not.
Seriously 14 of you; what exact fights are you thinking of that make you think Fedor has heavier hands than Chuck? Fedor KO'd Arlovski, and dropped Sylvia and Zuluzinho. Outside of that, what exactly is it that is making you vote for him. He hits fairly hard, but heavy hands mean you are knocking people out.
I'm glad somebody said it, Silva or Liddell should be winning this poll. The Fedor love on this web site is out of hand. Manhoef or Rizzo could be in this poll and Fedor would still be winning.
If anything it's a testament to him, he doesn't have any time any place fight ending power, but he doesn't need it to be the best.
Chucks style is what cuases him to knock people out. All Chuck does is look for the knockout with his fists. Fedors style is different and thats why he's not knocking everyone out. Fedor just takes the win anyway he can get it. If you tested their raw punching power i bet Fedor hit's harder than Chuck. :deal Plus Fedor's G & P punches are the strongest of all time. :deal
No chance in hell. You've got it assbackwards; Chuck knocked people out with his hands because he could, like anybody else would if they had his power.
