Ive being using a heavy bag for around a year just doing evreything basic for around 6-7 songs. Do you think i should say spend one song focusing on a jab, then on a right, then on body punching so i focus on specfic things. What are the advantages to doing this rather than doing evreything combined?
    Thanks

If you are new to boxing then yes. Work on one punch to get the technique right before going all "freestyle".
Ideally, you should not even use the heavybag unless a coach is keeping an eye on you. Especially if you are new. I know that's not always possible, but it helps prevent bad habits from forming.

Thanks Jen. If i did focus on different things what would you suggest at first? Just footwork and head movement? I admit my balance going backwards is pretty crappy so that could be a benefit.
