You throw mostly just arm punches. Focus to bent more to your knees and rotate power from hips. Thats how you get power.

When i'm in the heavybag I rather throw two or three good quality well handled power shots than just blast 10 arm punches. Focus to quality.

baconmaker u got to be kidding. he's got some very good left hooks a good range and gets his hips in. Same for straight right. Maybe the jab is an arm punch. But overall good. Id like to see better footwork and pivots but impressed

Hey mate, you are absolutely right, i wasnt really putting any footwork in it, reason is im still recovering, and one of my injuries was on my right knee, and i still cant really move around and slide well. And i was just really using the left to keep the flow going. But like i said good points, you are right in everything u said, thx for the feedback and reply.

He gets some hip rotation, but he doesn't get maximal leverage that he could. Watch this video and ask it from Lamont Brewster.

Hey bro i hear you, stetting up like that to generate more power can deff be a great power exercise on the bag, i just dont feel its really pratical in a real fight situation, i feel it would take too long to set up too low like that and i would get countered hard before i could even punch, then again i could be wrong. But again, bending that low to generate power shots might be a good exercise on the bag to train power i might start to incoporate that **** lol.

I see your point. Thats why it takes thousands of hours to practice to throw it like Brewster does. You need lightning fast speed to master that technique in order to not to get caught. Thats why Mike Tyson didn't get caught, because he had the speed to slip away after throwing shots.

Posting a video on boxing forums and asking for feedback is a funny thing.

The people posting them usually expect some flattering compliments. And the people criticising them usually can't do much better.

    Just stop it Youtube generation.

it depends on what you trying to show..HB work doesnt really replicate real punches being thrown at you. People look at BW and think well you cant fight like that? well HB work is more to produce power shots, get the arm/hand used to hitting a solid object and increase power. These guys never fought before otherwise they would realize this. Critics think and look at a bag like a live opponet but it doesnt work that way...have you seen wilders bag work? im pretty sure my bag work on abnout 5 beers looks better. Ive also fought guys who fought Wilder and they say i hit harder..lol...im shocked Dago Wop isnt here yet to say everything you did wrong ,that kids a monster puncher.

On the vid itself ,good in and out movement forward /back ,concentrate on direct shots first and movement with feet and more of those sharp outside shots back and forward to get distance on guys, assuming you are tall ?... Hb work is not to go 12 rounds with a real fighter its to sharpen specific skills and develope power. Real simulation is sparring but the good sessions on HB work can make all the world of differance ,dont listen to arm chair guys theres a few everywhere,Dago Dope the 125 pound kid training for under 2 years is one, according to him i have poor skills and OK power? lol
